Anyone find Liara to be worse in ME3, romanced and not-romaned?

Please, everyone knows Maeko Matsuo was the hottest bit character in ME.

Between being legitimately scared that Liara is trying to steal his heart and acting like the most unbelievable Tali fan I've ever seen, it's a wonder he likes Miranda.
Well a character like ME1 Liara, Tali, or DA2's Merrill would be more his speed. MEfan is clearly a boy not a man, so a girl not a woman would fit him just great.

Miranda should have tried to stop you if she wasn't loyal. But most ME characters are pretty spineless. I think Mordin, Legion, and Wrex are the only ones who really stand up to you.

Parasini has fanboys? I guess Cullen and Shiala aren't the only very minor Bioware characters with inexplicably large fanbases.
It never meant anything! I swear!
Nope. Casual sex, nothing more. That's how I have my Shepard.
Prior to being with Miranda, he's kinda the James Bond of the universe. Like me. Then he finally meets someone who he can truly love and be with with Miranda.
Now imagine both Parasini and Miranda in bed with you at the same time. Hawt tbh.
You kidding, Miranda wouldn't share. She's my master. I do what the master desires.

No that was that cheating dog MEfanforlife101, Steelcan would never do that.
Oh and Tela Vasir > all
Vasir is the only xeno I'd have Shepard do the nasty with.

I think in Miranda's case it's because Shepard's actions and talks with Miranda made Miranda's loyalty to Shepard stronger then her loyalty to Cerberus. After everything she went through with Shepard, betraying Cerberus was the easier option for her then betraying Shepard.

Could you imagine if this was actually a possibility in the game? Just randomly on a mission to stop cerberus Liara can be grabbed and killed that quickly as part of a scripted event.

And I can accept that (with much grudging disbelief after how long Miranda spent with Cerberus compared to how long she spent with Shepard), because she holds true to that characterisation afterwards. Liara does no such thing.

Doesn't make sense for my Shepard, who's actually as pro-Cerberus as she is. I do blow up the base, but more because I think it's like the One Ring from LotR than anything anti-Cerberus or in some misplaced notion of compassion.

Are you sure it was an issue of writers? She seems rather consistant in ME2 to ME3. The strange shift in her personality happens after ME1.
I think they just wanted to change what her character was after the first game. Or they wanted to mature her and just did a poor job of it.

But when you go to blow it up, TIM commands her to stop you... She declines and resigns right there. So her choice to betray you or betray Cerberus happened right then and there, and she had to make a choice. Whether Shepard was pro Cerberus or not, she had to pick a side and she picked yours.

Exactly, why can't we do the same thing, but for different reasons? Like how we could kill off the Council in ME1, but be doing it to form a pro-human Council, or for purely military gain with an all alien Council afterwards.

I'd disagree, in ME3 she seems stuck between the two. She casually shoots two cerberus troops like it was no deal, but she loses her cool the second she sees an asari in distress.Eterna5 wrote...
