Well, it was just one guy actually. He did a supposed chemical analysis of Tali's sweat. 

Other big events were the Mirandamancer civil war and a couple of other waifu wars.

The whole rest of the forum is filled with homages to Tali's and Miri's butts.

If I remember correctly the Tali horde desended on the forums shortly after ME2's release. Spamming the forums and such, also there were no sub-forums at that time. Initially coined the "Talimancer's" as an insult, they soon took the word for themselves, the character forums were created, and eventually the create plague subsided.

Still, to this day, BiowareLogic boggles my mind

The entire reasoning behind the Character and Romance Forum getting shut down was such bull**** in the first place. Instead of punishing the very tiny minority that was causing a ruckus, Chris punished everyone and shut the forum down. It absolutely made no sense and it makes me believe that there might've been some agenda behind it. This is just one of the many reasons why I was pleased to see Priestly go.

I've read some threads i.e. infamous Miranda romance thread(not all thread mind you). Yeah, there were weirdos with unhealthy love to a bunch of pixels but it wasn't so bad to close an entire forum. It was a lazy decision and I'm not surprised it was Chris "deal with it" Priestly who closed it. Just ban worst offenders, delete bad posts. Problem solved.

Oh and "quarian sweat" was obvious trolling.
