If it fits with the story. Not if it's just so he can say "Hi Inquisitor, I'm Fenris, I hate mages. [if in romance]Er, did I mention I love Hawke.[/romance] Bye!"

You forgot the part where he talks about how he was a slave.

I don't think he would mention that.

He tends not to bring that up randomly unless if a person directly askes or states something about it.

Just from what i picked up.

If he does, I bet you he still hasn't had a haircut. Or gotten a job. Or bought shoes.

Damn hippie.

I know you are joking but you are aware he was constantly taking Mercenary jobs when not with Hawke right near all his time in Kirkwall?

He probably could afford shoes...

okay, so Fenris opposed anything related to magic, surely in a time of crisis he would should make an appearence at least in the form of a big quest since his skin is etched with lyrium. how about his lyrium skin acts up with such presence from the veil? the demons are seeking him to increase their power? something interesting right?

personnaly he was a really broody annoying character in DA 2 at times and very sweet and flirty at others. what do you guys out there think?:P

Sebastian offered him a role in leading his army in Starkhaven once he reclaimed the throne; that could be a possibility if the protagonist ventures to the Free Marches.

I'm also aware he was constantly borrowing Hawke's money and losing it to Varric.

He must blow all of his disposable income on various pieces of jagged metal to glue to his armour.

hmm am wondering since they are implementing loading games from DA 2 into DA 3 it should make sense that if u sell him back to danarius or kill him or whatever he would be present according to that and if not then they will make him something different. i mean it would be cool that even if he survived danarius maybe we'll see him running around purposeless in a city pickpocketing people since in a dialogue with varric he stated that he should try it sometimes, maybe he meant it as a joke but still

Mmm he certainly filled out that Armor.

But in all honesty its not like he had major expenses beyond likely food and basic upkeep on equipment.

He lived in a Manor but he didn't act like it.

And It was only a weekly diamond back game and that's also only if he is your LI.

If not then he attempts to win it from Izzy with similar results of him losing.

He lived in a Manor but he didn't act like it.

It's had corpses lying around it for six years; I doubt the resale value is that high anymore.

I doubt that bothered him much but my point remains its not as if he was blowing his coin on fancy clothing, cheap women and wine.

He also lived in permanent fear that Danarius would snatch everything away from him.

I love Fenris to death, but I'm a little sick and tired of epilogue slides and the like being bogus. Honestly? If Hawke isn't in 'Inquisition', and you romanced Fenris in DA2, I'd rather not see him. Because he should be wherever Hawke is.

If Fenris wasn't romanced, this is my favorite alternative. I hope he did end up going with Sebastian to Starkhaven. Either way, I'd love to see him in the game, no matter the context, assuming what I said above isn't the case.

With Seb if not romanced.

With Hawke if romanced.

I'd be fine with that.

ok, fenris.... " corpses".... in mansion... 6 years...
it would be amazingly funny right now if somehow kirkwall was accessible in DA 3 , we got to the mansion and the corpses are still there. XD

and more epically what if fenris lost his lyrium power because the fade sucked it out of him and now was back to a normal elf, hmm twist in his fate

Seeing as how he's got a rather cool bit of magic engraved in his skin, I think it'd be cool for him to show up again, if only to see long term effects.

Also I'm kind of hoping for a Jack ending for the guy, so that's be nice to.

He having a tough exterior only to be butter in reality for his LI?

I guess that makes sense you sort of see that in Act 3.

I was thinking more the part where Jack found a community that loved and accepted her, that she would do anything to protect.

I had an idea awhile back that it'd be kind of cool if you found Fenris in a some town somewhere, hair black at the roots, white at the tips (I assume it was the Lyrium giving it the odd color), heavily scared and going through serious withdrawl after someone literally ripped the lyrium from his body. It'd be part of a larger quest involving a bunch of lyrium theives or something.

My mage Hawke romanced Fenris, so I'm hoping they appear together, especially if Hawke plays any part in the story. But I also wouldn't mind them appearing separately due to unforeseen circumstances. I'd just be happy to see them again. The idea of unromanced Fenris joining Isabela's crew or joining Sebastian's army or leading a Tevinter slave rebellion sounds good too.

I'm curious if hints that Fenris' lyrium tattoos could become unstable and do strange things over time will be seen or not. (Only vaguely related, I've wondered if Fenris' markings might actually be the vallaslin of Fen'Harel, which the Dalish never use.)

I didn't know the Vallaslin were related to specific gods. I've also wondered if Fenris has some relation to Fen'Harel, especially considering how Dalish his markings look (Merrill specifically points them out). I mean his nickname could have been given simply because it suited Danarius's fancy, but I wonder if it could also have been chosen for some significant reason.

Yeah, I've wondered what exactly Danarius was experimenting with, especially with his name choice.  Even if he wasn't outright referring to Fen'Harel, that suggests some related interest in elven culture.  I also find it interesting that the powers the markings give Fenris bear a resemblance to the Arcane Warrior spec, which is something of the ancient elves.  It's also suggested that Fenris and I suspect Danarius don't know everything the markings can do, which leaves some potential doors open.  I actually really doubt there's a direct link to Fen'Harel or that we'll see anything big happen with his markings, but it would be pretty awesome.  It's fun to think about anyway.

The Venatori (the guys in the keep from the PAX demo) are reportedly Tevinter-based cult that oppose the rule of the Magisters. From a plot perspective having him make an appearance with them could work.
