@Melca36: I honestly didn't think you were referring to Fenris' fans. I didn't follow the DA forums after Da2's release, so I don't know what happened here.

Thank you for understanding.   With the exception of a very few people I trust.... I plan to keep my likes/dislikes a secret. If I see other people who share the same opinion...I will partcipate with them.  I likely NEVER openly state I dislike any character again. Its not worth the headache. People look for any little reason to be offended nowadays.

I never recruit Fenris because I don't like him, his personality or his visual design. However, if he shows up in a role that benefits his character, the story or the world and not simply as a cheap cameo then good'o.

It would be neat if Hawke popped alongside him as well if Fenris was the choosen LI.

If I see Fenris again it should be in someone else's party, so I can laugh when he AoEs his own party with his big sword and they have to stop fighting to force a respec potion down his throat.

Honestly I don't see things ending well for him as he's either a corpse that will likely be possessed and become a special Renvant, a giant magnet for fade demons with the veil torn and lacking mage resistance training becomes forced into possession, or he's a slave again which might actually be the best outcome as you'd think Danarius would have some idea how to shield him from the increased fade presence in Thedas.

I am genuinely sorry that you have been made to feel this way,  I personally am a fan of Fenris but I can understand others not being so, just as any other companion.  I am personally not a fan of Anders or Leliana, but for those who enjoy such characters, I harbor no ill will.

I honestly do understand your reluctance to display preference for any character.  It seems that there are many who cannot fathom someone else liking a character that they do not, and then find that a reason to harass a fan.  It goes every which way and it really does disturb me, that so many people can't come to terms with the fact that there are many different tastes in the world. 

I wonder how those people come to such terms in the real world.

Anyway, although I personally do like Fenris, I can certainly understand why others may have issues with him, just as I did with Anders.

Sorry, but why he's the 'worst LI ever' because he's bisexual/playersexual, when Anders is in the same situation?

No that's not it. He's....a girl. Even with lady Hawke he's still the chick. he can't even kiss you like a man.

Well I killed him in DA2, so if he does show up I prefer he be either crippled from a near death experience and living on the streets of kirkwall, or a zombie.

I'm happy with the zombie option.

If you killed him, you'll obviously not see him in your game.

Leliana was retconnetted for an important role. If your previous post is based on retconning, then it's obvious that Bioware wouldn't retcon Fenris' death just for making him nearly dead or a zombie. So in this case, you'll likely get disappointed.

I would be relieved actully.

I'm proberly just being cynically, but I've found once you start bringing back important characters, its not long before you start bringing back any character.
