Ffandrade, your platinum solos are very impressive. My favourite solo from your channel is the justicar versus collectors on hazard glacier, that solo is extremely difficult, tried it but decided it was impossible. But it's an amazing display of the justicar's power, very impressive. And your volus solos are nothing short of exceptional.

Lol, Invader I think I made a new record for the longest Platinum solo - look at that time! :sick:

It was with the Salarian Infiltrator, Particle Rifle + Acolyte - wanted to try out something new (I normally play him with the Widow in team games). He is doing so well vs Geth on Gold but vs Geth on Platinum, man that's another story - this guy is flimsy as hell even with Energy Drain.

Objectives were Targets (Primes, had to use 4 missiles:?), Pizza, Escort. Used all of the missiles on the waves before and had only 3 medigels left, so I had to be very careful on wave 8, 9 and 10 to make it to extraction. I didn't wanted to rush it and make a stupid mistake, as in previous attempts where I failed at wave 10 - so I took me all the time in the world.

And after all, this game is not time limited, right ? So what matters is just to complete the mission.

I'm wondering whether the particle rifle is a good choice for a plat solo. I love the gun, it's my favorite assault rifle, but the time it takes to pass on its hot mode is a big drawback for a plat solo. I assume that your shots were often interrupted in the last waves, with banshees coming at you and the switchs to acolyte you probably did to deal with phantoms. 

But anyway, congrats, you had the patience to succeed.

@loufi: Thanks and you're right, all that really matters is to fully extract on a Platinum solo. Especially after playing over 2 hours versus stunlocking Geth, that was real torture. I had a hard time on the later waves at dealing with my prior enemies like Pyros, Hunters, Rocket Troopers, while Banshees were on the field. They kept pressuring me at a fast pace and I got interrupted in the midst of shooting on non-boss enemies very often and quickly had to leave to another safe spot, that added up to the long time. Especially waves 9 and 10 without missiles were ridiculously hard to stay alive (most of the time I was down to health gate). I still think the Particle Rifle is a good weapon though for certain kits to do a Platinum solo, but not the SI as I learned the hard way. This guy does so much better as a sniping kit (Widow, Black Widow, Javelin) the way he's meant to be. I also learned that if something works fine on Gold it doesn't have to work out as fine on Platinum.

@Ffandrade: I've seen your Jugg solo, I agree. And HardcoreSalmon did a nice Platinum solo with the TGI using the Particle Rifle on Giant vs Cerberus. I think I will use this more suitable combination TGI/Particle Rifle for my next enemy I want to solo against - the Collectors.

Thanks Andy. Honestly, I am not sure I want you to watch the vid lol, I did so many mistakes in this solo...
I did it during a break in my work so I wasn't totally focused on what I was doing and got surrounded several times, while I am usually not in plat solos. But the job is nevertheless done...

I died a lot but it was mainly on my fault, I didn't find the vorcha too fragile. The health regen mechanism combined to a high mobility is really great to survive, at least against the reapers (not too many stunning attacks).

Even better with mistakes in it, more to learn for me (how to avoid making the same mistakes you did in future solo's)!  I'm a little frustrated right now, I almost completed another solo vs Collectors on FB White with my Krogan Sentinel on the 1st attempt. I died only once and used only 2 missiles up to wave 9 and time wasn't too bad for me (lol, about 60 minutes). 

And then towards the end of wave 9, I got meleed and stabbed by a cheap Phantom sneaking around the corner  - and damn I was so stupid! I could have easily avoid getting synced, if I wouldn't have panicked and tried to run away after her melee but burst my Tech Armor instead to stagger the Phantom for an instant, that would have given me enough time to get out of this dangerous situation... Well, the next time.

I must have missed this somehow, but anyway, congrats on the solo loufi, that character is really squishy, really good job on the solo.:happy:

 @XFG : thanks XFG. About the squishyness of the vorcha, I see your point but I don't totally agree. His health regen make him laugh at banshees' warps, and he can take multiple shots from cannibals and marauders. And, despite his low level of shields, the shieldgate mechanism allows him to absorb the first shot of a ravager. But, that being said, I admit that I would not take him for a plat solo against geth, cerberus or the collectors.

Yeah, it was one of these seldom games where everything goes down smooth and in a good flow... my best solo so far, up to that wave 9 - too bad I got synced. But I'll keep on trying to get the Collectors done too by using Invader's strategy. I never give up anyway, if in a solo or team game. If not synced, I'll do whatever I can, burn through all my gels/missiles/ops packs, to maybe make it to extraction somehow in the end against all odds. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose - but I never throw in the towel, just like in real life.

I did 2 more attempts with the Krogan Sentinel on FB White vs Collectors. All my attempts with him ended up being synced on wave 9, lol. I don't know what it is with this special wave for me, I truly hate it man! After getting synced for the 3rd time in a row so close to the end, I was really pissed and switched it back to Giant and did it in the 1st try with the Jugg. I still want to get this FB White solo with the Krogan Sentinel done, as I know I can do it - if I am able to survive this damn wave 9.

Another 10 WS solo. Pretty slow game since I wanted to do this flawlessly at first, but the third target on wave 6 spawned very unfavorably and there was no way to get it in time with the Venom.
