I think you have to be careful in deciding what is fair game and what isn't. Using a character's invicibility frames isn't that much different to me than spamming stim packs or the AIU's cheap Repair Matrix. I mean I don't have video capability and I could run a solo with a cheap tactic and it wouldn't be debated. I think at worst put a text beside it that he took advantage of I-Frames, let the viewers decide their viewpoint on the use of the kit's mechanics whether it was an exploit or not. I'm sure we'll have Reegar cheese, etc that will violate some's personal ethics. Just my two cents, not that it means anything.dumdum2 wrote...

Yeah, Hendrix is a good enough player so modding is out of the question. But still, using a game exploit is not really a "fair" solo, as I said this could be compared to using the Hydra glitch and I know you wouldn't put a solo in the Hall of Fame if you know it was a result of the Hydra glitch.

Nearly all novaguard solos (Achire's included) take advantage of exploiting invulnerability frames. Additionally, there are inevitable invulnerability frames simply by using nova/shieldboost/stimpack/slayer light melee*/biotic charge etc... Using invulnerability frames, like kiting, is a strategic tradeoff not a win button: you can't always nova-cancel because you don't do any damage during that time. I don't see it as trivializing the solo at all, any well-informed player would use IF's to tank unavoidable damage.dumdum2 wrote...
