Last November 7th Bioware wanted to make that day a holiday for Mass Effect called N7Day. I'm wondering with November 7th near, is Bioware planning anything for it?

They still haven't done anything for the rest of the world who couldn't partake in the Bioware Bazaar like they promised three years ago.

If Bioware said the sky was blue I'd have to look out of the window to double check.

Take anything Bioware say with a huge pinch of salt.

We had this discussion in the Multiplayer board a few days ago, and came to the conclusion that the answer is "lolno".

It would definitely be nice to see that they still care about ME3, but since support is officially over, 'Tis nothing but a pipe dream, I'm afraid.

Doubt it, but it would help keep the franchise and IP alive for the next game.

I was playing a lot of MP back then but I somehow missed that one day...

You know, N7 Day can be commemorated by us, the fans, too. Just because Bioware doesn't do anything (which we don't know yet), we could still decide to take the initiative. An example: we could ask fellow BSN members if they've got a canon Shepard with a rich backstory. I've seen that sometimes, particularly with people writing fan-fics, and it might be interesting to pick out 1 person (or 2 people, or 3) and do an interview of their personal Shepards. As a hommage to the series or if anyone's got something else in mind. Instead of just sitting around, hoping for Bioware to do something for N7 Day.

That would be a cool idea. No blurry, but just a concept for ME4 without saying it is. Like "I wonder where this is from".

I was hoping this would be something they would commit too. Or will commit to.

Alas, it turned out that special meant a stream of someone playing Omega DLC and a banner. The vid was nice, but hardly the interactive shenangins I was hoping for. The banner...... Meh, done those alot. Not special enough for a soecial day.

maybe they could finally offer some sort of discount on bioware points for PC since all the dlc is now ancient and has been on sale on consoles more than once and the game can now be bought for next to nothing....... Maybe EA hell will freeze over.

You make a good point. Perhaps when the day comes near we can all do our celebration. If nothing is planned we all just say "Happy N7 day" and share our experiences on the ME universe.


Having said that, I get a kick if they announce DLC with all the MP stuff for Campaign. I'm still waiting for the Collector weapons for my Collector Armored Shep. Unlikely yes, but one can dream.
