I dump Banshees off on unsuspecting teammates all the time. 

And yes, you should hit the store when I am in the lobby. I think the store rewards those who play with me for trolling me as bad as it did (I didn't even max for the first time until about 800 hours). Wasn't quite as bad after stocking up around 20 million credits or more doing speedruns before the last like 3 DLCs, but even 24 million wasn't enough the last go around for me.

Whoa!  I take it you didn't play from the start with the weekend challenges?  I got it up to IX and unlocked the final one in a pack.  Since I went on hiatus, I didn't know the N7 weapons were released as UR drops.

And that just says how horrible the store is in general. 24 million credits and it didn't even max your manifest, not to mention the 800 hours you put in before.

That was just the stuff for the very last DLC. For the other thing (the 800 hours), I say I spent too long in Bronze/Silver except I was there for maybe around 150 hours or so and then went up to Gold (Platinum wasn't out yet). I definitely wasn't as solid of a player, but I don't recall failing too many matches because I camped a lot and there were no real "anti-camp" units such as Dragoons or Bombers yet and I played a lot of Cerberus. I maxed sometime after the second DLC or so, but that also meant I had a lot of new stuff leveling up while older stuff was just going nowhere. In fact, my first UR to X was the Prothean Particle Rifle I believe which says a lot to what I was getting before.

Playing some games with SlimJim, Lonewolf87 & a decent PUG got me a Collector SMG IX. That leaves me just 15 more to get for a maxed manifest.

Expect the store to troll you. For my last 13 ultra rares it took just over 14 million credits to get them

If the store is true to form, your next upgrade with be a collector SMG upgrade and your last 5/6 upgrades will be for particle rifle or harrier respectively.

The last 7 upgrades for me were for the collector SMG....*shakes fist at store*
