I guess there is no average time when it comes to the RNG.
I was almost embarassed to have taken 868 hours to complete mine, but compared to many players here, I am pretty lucky.

I was pretty lucky considering I had only started gold and platinum full time after finishing all the weapons banners and 200 wave banners, so around December? Still i finished at a little over 1000 hours IIRC. I'm pretty sure my longest dry spell was less than 1 million credits.

I have over 1100 hours in game, but I spent way too long playing Bronze and Silver before moving up to mostly Gold matches. I only play Platinum if I'm playing with friends, which doesn't seem to be too often lately since most of them have moved onto other games. If I get to max my manifest before they kill the servers, cool....if not, it's still been one of the games I've had the most fun playing on the Xbox since I got my console. I've met & played with a bunch of cool & fun people because of it and this forum, so I'm happy for that anyway.

After doing some Platinum runs with Kocka, Shards & IxMerc, I'm now just 35 shy of maxed.. +1 to the Blood Pack Punisher.

Ironic thing is I got the Javelin & Saber up to IX on the same day just this week.  I'll be happy to get them plus the Wraith maxed out so it's fewer weapons I have to worry about getting to level 10.  Matter of fact, in one game Kocka was rocking the Javelin on his Salarian Infiltrator against Reapers/Platinum/Vancouver after Merc, Shards & I were all Banshee grabbed in one wave.

Maxed out manifest of UR weapons does not matter much. But having access to all UR weapons matters a lot as having access to a weapon opens new builds. I still lack access to PPR and Indra. And the sick store system will see to it that it may a long, long time before I unlock the last two (approx. 1/120 probability to unlock the last one per arsenal pack).
