He has a "darker" and more detailed look, which I don't mind. I'm just glad to see my favorite DA companion (from both games) return. Hopefully Bioware don't give Varric the "Anders" treatment and turn one of the more popular characters into one of the more hated, if it's possible to hate Varric.

I think he looks better. Looks like hes dropped some "baby fat" off his face as such. But he seems more tired and worn and sad from what he looked like previously.

FWIW, Sydney Natale in NWN2 fits the bill, and Ravel (in her various incarnations) from PS:T also. But those are the only ones I can think of without going WAAAYYY back to Passionate Patty's mom in one of the early Leisure Suit Larry games (not counting one of the generic NPC body types in the BG games).
