If you are one of those people who are nuking 5 spawns in a row on wave 11, please stop! It's a bad practise!:pinched:
If you don't know how to get rid of your 255 missiles, please nuke some spawns during the earlier waves or use them to clean up after objectives to make the game go faster.
Lately whenever I think I've come across a decent player in a PUG, they never fail to disappoint me, when they start shooting rockets on the extraction wave.
Makes them look like total noobs, even more so if the're trying to come in first on the scoreboard this way.
I think this is mostly a bad habit of otherwise skilled players, hence I'm posting this here on BSN.

Why should you be concerned about how others use their missiles? This sounds a whole lot like what I do in every single game. Actually, it's exactly what I do. I'm a firm believer in that your missiles are your own personal property and you are free to do with them as you wish. As long as you play well and help out with the game and help out with objectives (targets, especially, i.e. using missiles to take out targets), why should it matter how players use their missiles? How do missiles even factor into this equation? I never understood that. I noticed that in nearly every single game, I'm left with at least 2 missiles surplus for wave 11. So at the end of wave 10, I make sure to position myself appropriately so I can rush the initial spawns on wave 11 and get a couple of killstreaks if possible right off the bat on wave 11, because there are some really juicy spawns on wave 11.

A decent team generally won't need more than a rocket or two per person for objectives, emergencies, objective emergencies etc. If you've got a few left over, that's what rocket celebration wave is for...

Of course you can do whatever you want with your missiles, you earned them after all. But rockets shot on wave 11  dont help the TEAM most of the time (On the contrary, because you force the spawns on top of your teammates 9 out of 10 times).

They don't help the team, you're right. Not at all. But they never harm the team either. Think of it as a personal pursuit, or a personal habit, it has no effect on anyone else. Also, I never understood that whole "ruining the spawns" business. I've never once experienced that in my time spent playing the game (with a max manifest and 47k N7), so unfortunately I can't relate to that. I've never once been blindsided by a spawn as a result of someone nuking a previous spawn. So really, it's a harmless act and I say if you got some spare rockets, go ahead and let rip.

Maybe you've never been flanked because you are the one forcing the enemies to spawn behind your teammates backs?:?

This.

But I would rather encounter that than going into a random Platinum game with full gear only to encounter the annoying infinite rocket people.

I only get annoyed when people do it because prior to the missiles flying, Id had the highest score using 0 missiles. The after I would not be high scorer.

If the games goes fast and smooth then I dont really care, but if long game then I would really prefer for them to use the rockets on earlier waves

I thought you nuked everything on every wave anyways with your all mighty missile glitch? Got to have that N7you know.

I don't care as its usually a pathetic attempt to catch up with the top scorer (PUGs get boot afterwards).
The only time I do care is if you make 4 phantoms spawn 3 feet behind me because of your idiotic nuking.

I always have more rockets than I need (I wish they
were stacked reset cards!). But in games, usually
save them for emergencies. Wave 10/11? I spam
rockets. Wave 10 to get it over with quicker. But
wave 10 doesn't always require rockets.

Wave 11 I'll burn rockets for fun anytime. If that swarmer
looks cross-eyed at me? Rocket. Maybe an 11 spammed
rocket ups a score, or maybe it rescues someone, or
maybe I'm getting revenge on a swarmer.

Nice to know that some people actually have conniption
fits over non-glitched rockets in a no longer supported
game!

As long as they don't drop a praetorian on my head doing it, then I don't really care. Let the score****s have their fun.

I don't mind people who were helping throughout the game nuking wave 11, I personally find it silly but it's their missile.
What pisses me off is when someone hasn't been helping throughout the game and didn't use a missile during objective waves or any other time that it was necessary and then decides to nuke wave 11 Image IPB.
