@A3 lol yep. Except for one problem: he never meleed anything but instead spent most of the game dead. I got the feeling bat gauntlet was the only gear he had so he put it on. I wish he'd been meleeing stuff, at least he would have been useful for some laughs.

Fury with Spitfire works. Fury with Javelin works too. I've done Slayer with Javelin. It works ok on Gold. PD is a decent stagger power.

When I was doing the challenges for BotB I ran a Vorcha Soldier with a Viper on Gold.

It actually wasn't that bad.

You misunderstand.  His loadout is whatever's on the other three guys--he's just letting them pull the triggers for him.

I saw a Fury with a Black Widow one time.  Never detonated a single BE the entire game.  As far as I can tell, he/she just wanted to Dark Channel stuff and then snipe it - Which may work OK if you are using Warp Ammo, because Warp Ammo is ridiculously awesome.   But, no Warp Ammo.  Why PUG why?

I'm voting for myself. Had a game a few weeks back where I was in the midst of switching out from the Krogan Shaman with Wraith, Shotgun amp and Biotic gear and so forth on, to the BatSol with the Argus (it's passable on BatSol).

Game froze on me after switching kits but before switching gear, and wouldn't let me exit or alt-tab out. I did get to watch everyone else ready up, the countdown commence and the match start. Everyone seemed surprisingly okay with my gear and consumables bearing no resemblance to the kit or weapons I was using. Luckily I got disconnected almost immediately; unluckily, it still ate my consumables.

I've seen is a human adept carrying Claymore & Revenant!

I use the Javelin and Reegar/Crusader/Claymore on my Drell Vanguard, if that means anything.

Flamer spammer loadout.

Possibly one of the worse things to run into in PUGs. Worse than a Spitfire-Novaguard specced out of BC.

I saw some low level sitting in a Platinum lobby "readied up" as a Human Soldier with a Shuriken I and Predator II, with no weapon mods, no gear and no equipment earlier. Promptly left the lobby.

That volus engy combo doesn't sound all that bad actually. Hell, I'd use that combo.
