The review says that the side missions and recruitments sort of draw away from the narrative, saying that you sometimes want to carry on chasing the collectors, and the lure of side missions draw away from the sense of urgency. Again, minor niggles, but I'm all for more content.

"Bioware's art team have created created a barely conceivable range of alien vistas and locations (The CENSORED, in paticular, is jaw dropping.)"
"We're calling it, this game's got the best faces in gaming history"
"You've never seen character animation quite so accomplished"
"If your a fan of Bioware RPG's,or the first game, you're going to love this"

What worries me is now both OXM and this mag have said that the story is a little messed up but it shouldn't be that bad as long as it has a few surprises i will be happy

I'd love to hear the spoilers about Thane, and am dying to see the pic of king Wrex

IIRC, Bioware wanted to make it so ME2 didn't feel like such a hurry. They said in ME1, poeple felt like time was running out and skipped side missions because of it. So if ME2 does make one feel that way, that you have to keep going after the Collectors and skip some side missions, then I would be surprised.

The Thane spoiler, well, the theories from the "cat's in the cradle" achievement were very close, but misunderstood slightly. Plus, in the profile image of Wrex, he;'s holding a shotgun.

Which theories are those? About a father?

Let's just say there are "Father" issues...
People just misunderstood Thane's role in the relationship

"praises Mass Effect 2's "magnificent characters" and "actual role-playing," while moaning that the main narrative "takes time"."
Can't understand that one. A good RPG that doesn't take time? Can't even imagine one.

I think its awesome that the story is paced.....this way I wont feel rushed to complete the main quest like I did in the first one....of course, After my first playthrough I ended up doing every possible mission, but I mean this time around, I just want to kick back and enjoy absolutely EVERYTHING that this next installment has to offer!

Sorry, the image of Wrex was one from an ME1 poster, only with more distinctive striped armour. The mag just used it as an extra picture, and because everyone loves Wrex.

Excellent. Another thing to make it harder to bear waiting.
