I don't want evangeline because she might be romanceble.

I want her because she's a templar who stood up to her corrupt knight commander,  is generally awesome, and has a benevolent spirit inside of her thanks to wynne.

And who do you think became kirkwalls knight commander after meredith died? My guess would be its cullen.

Evangeline wouldn't be a romance option if she became a companion

I think the point was that Darth wants Evangeline as a companion for reasons that have nothing to do with her being a possible romantic interest for the protagonist.

It doesn't matter in the end. Evangeline is dead. Killed by Lambert.

You must have read a different version of Asunder than what I read. Wynne saved Evangeline, giving up her own life in the process. Evangeline is alive at the end of the book.

Here we go again. That isn't Evangeline. It's Evangeline / whatever spirit got transferred to her. I really don't want to see another possessed companion.

I'm sure when Gaider wrote Asunder, he twirled his mustache and said, "This isn't Evangeline at all! Muahahaha Rhys is boning Anders 3.0!! How's that for transgender, ****es!"

Except, you know... A lot more eloquently than how I just put it.

No, all mages returning to the Circle would be the extremist templar solution that I don't think will exist. Truth be told, I have major doubts that this'll be a choice at all, because it'd alter the setting of the next game too much to tell consistently.

No, tranqulising or killing all mages is the extremist solution.

Circles are a middle ground.
They were the original compromised that worked for a thousand years.
Some culling of undesirables/incompetents and a few tweaks to the system - that's the middle ground.

Part of the problem was the chantry was too busy watching and policing the mages they forgot to watch and police the Templars, plus believing the very people you are guarding are subhuman and cursed will always lead to problems.

Nah. Magic is a curse *AND* a gift.
Clearly stated. Mages aren't considered subhuman...just dangerous.

When you have Templars view mages as unturned abominations and weapons instead of human being with feelings it is what leads to the problems that happened.

Forgot about that. Been awhile since I read the book, and I focused on Lambert's and Fiona's actions.

That's because they are ...BOTH of those.
That is the truth of the mages existence...their duality of what they are. They *ARE* human..but they also are weapons. They also are portals to the fade and demon-magnets.

I know when I'm scared of something, I rape it.
