How can one go about getting information about the various on-screen data. E.G., the little screen that displays the teams name. Two of the items are self explanatory - medi-gel and grenades, but the others are a bit cryptic.
Thanks -
Btw, not sure if it is the same for the Xbox, but I am asking about the PS3.

Do you have a screenshot so I know what you are talking about? I am just unsure which screen you are talking about.
Edit: Are you asking about the Heads Up Display (HUD) when you are out on foot with your squad?
Then in the bottom right-hand corner, it shows you and you your squad. The red bar next to a name represents the health of the person. The blue bars represent your shields. The more blue bars, the more shields; the maximum bars shown for shields are 5 or 6 (5 for squad, 6 for Shepard).
Also in the bottom right-hand corner are symbols for the First Aid skill (medi-gel) and grenades. If you use First Aid, the First Aid symbol will deplete and the Medi-gel count will decrease by one. You will see the First Aid symbol replenish slowly as it recharges. for grenades, it shows the grenade count. When you throw one, it will display moving bracket symbols until it detonates after 10 seconds or you detonate it manually. The grenade count will decrease by one when you throw one.
Also in the bottom right-hand corner, it displays the current weapon of Shepard. when you shoot it, red bars will appear on the right, indicating the weapon heat. When the red bar reaches maximum, the weapon will overheat and you cannot fire it again until the red bars deplete completely. Some enemies will hit you with Sabotage, which can cause the weapon to overheat on the next shot.
In the bottom right-hand corner is your radar. It displays information about your surroundings. enemies appear as red blips. For other symbols, go into the pause menu and bring up the Map. There should be a legend on the Map that explains the other symbols.

If you are talking about the Inventory screen, then there are symbols for Medi-gel, Grenades, credits, and Omni-Gel.

Thanks RedCaesar97. Much of that I had figured out. How can I send you a screen shot?

If the screenshot is a URL (it is a link to a file on a Web page) you can link the URL to your post by using the Standard Form.
1) At the bottom of the text box, click the or use the standard form link. there is also a Reply with full form link at the bottom of the page that you can use as well.
2) You can paste the link or any text into the form. Highlight the text you just pasted and click the Insert/Edit Link icon (it is the icon that looks like globe with a chain link at the bottom).
A Link popup will appear.
3) Click the Link Info tab. It should already be selected.
4) From the Link Type drop-down list, select URL. It should already be selected.
5) In the Protocol drop-down list, select the protocol. Generally most URLs will use HTTP as the protocol.
6) Paste the link into the URL field.
7) Click OK.
