HI all ! (sorry my english is not perfect)

So i play a Imported Male shepard in ME3 (romanced Liara) and i wanted to know if you can give gifts to Kaidan in huerta Hospital without romanced him and just being friend with him  ? It is possible or not ?

Thank for the last post (on miranda/liara)

P.S = In the discuss on mars with the "How can you say that ?!" line, i went to the "I am who I am" response, it is the good response for no triggered the romance or not ?

P.S = I'm not Homophobe hu hu ! I just love very much liara.

Thanks !

It is indeed possible.

Visiting Kaidan in hospital and giving him gifts are (I think) necessary to getting the romance off the ground, but the romance will not actually activate until he rejoins the crew and invites Shepard to a drink at Apollo's Cafe on the Citadel. It is during this conversation that you get the opportunity to officially begin a romance with Kaidan - or not.

So as long as you don't confess undying love at the cafe, yes you can still visit him in hospital and just be bffs.

Another way is to lock in your romance with Liara before you meet up with Kaiden (At Apollo's), that will change conversation completely.

Sharing a kiss with either Ash or Liara will ensure that the conversation between Shepard and Kaidan is strictly platonic. Just make sure when on the citadel you always speak to the object of your affections before Kaidan.

^^^^ This pretty much goes for everything.

What I find ironic is clicking the bottom of the wheel with TIM in ME2 gains points with him, and clicking the bottom of the wheel in ME3 with TIM makes him angry.

Even if you get to the point when Kaidan confesses his love for you, you can still say no.

Well, Renegade Shepard is enjoyable when he's directed at TIM's enemies, not so much when it's directed at TIM himself. :innocent:
