When I downloaded the Kirkwall Export mods, I wanted to use the Champion armor on one of my warriors. Though, for stupid aesthetic reasons it doesn't fit; my char's colour scheme is black and green, instead of black and red. And because I plan on getting the most stuff I can in black/green-ish tints, that red scarf was an eyesore.
So I decided to attempt "duplicating" (as in, different armor, but same model) with a custom texture, because I didn't want to lose the original Champ armor (and I suppose it's possible to have multiple armor models with different textures, as is evident by the dozens of mods available).
So right now I got the armor and script working, but as said earlier, it uses the same model as the Warrior Champ export from Kirkwall Export.
Problem 1: the texture won't fit correctly. Can I fix this by rotating the crap out of the texture? (The desc. at the Kirkw. Exp. mod said that any retexture of the champ armor can be applied to the export). Oh, and the boots and gloves don't even get any different textures at all (just the standard, original one)
Problem 2: It's ruining the original armor because the original armor uses the texture as well lol so how do I makeit exclusive for my own custom/duplicate armor?
I ended up renaming the texture and now neither use the texture. Thank god I have a back-up that works... Somewhat... except for the texture not fitting correctly.
If this can be fixed by dummies; someone please tell me how.
If this can only be fixed by computer wizards: Feel free to tell me it can be fixed by computer wizards because then I can give up on this project, lol. I choose visual arts instead of indie game development for a reason.

Hmmm... It seems to be only working for the standard armors, so no exported or modded armors... It does have some interesting and probably usefull information so I need to dig into it some more...
Anyways, thanks! Couldn't find that video when I tried to google for a solution.
