Almost any kit on Gold. Not all that confident with Bowluses, cuz I cannot carry with those if the other players turn out to be uh, bad.

Only comfortable taking Turians (original two and Ghost), Geth Sol (weapons build), Vorcha Sent. and the Justicar into Plat on U/U.

EDIT: Drell Adept. Can't believe I forgot DA. Unforgivable.

If you mean with teammates I suspect are decent (i.e. I won't have to solo waves - no one wants that) and a passable connection, dozens. On PUGs I suspect might struggle a bit or when uncertain of latency: TSent, BatSol, KroSol, Shaman, HEng, BatSlasher, followed by QME, Paladin, Geth Trooper.

For gold, I'm probably good to go with any kit I've bothered actually trying to master before.

On platinum I almost always stick with either the geth, drell and salarian infiltrators or my turian sentinel. I use the Javelin and Black Widow on the first two respectively, Claymore for the salarian and usually the Harrier for the turian.

lol at drell adept and Valkyrie. Both truly powerful kits. But the volus merc, spec decoy for evo 4 shields and evo 5 shock. Decoy for shock damage, pulse, triple shock. Shield boost 4. Passives for weapon damage 6. And rest in shields. Use a paladin and cryo ammo for luls

KroSent, Asari Vanguard, Drell Assassin, TGI, KroGuard, KroSol, Valkyrie but only on 360. Doing U/U on PS3 usually ends up being a short trip to hell.

On Gold? Most kits I'd say.

On Platinum? The kit I'm best with is Salarian Infiltrator so I'd go with that as my most confident.

On gold - anything

On Platinum - I don't really play platinum but if a friend invites me in I'll do a few games, normally restrict myself to high weapon damage or high survivability kits; GI, Destroyer, Juggy, Kroldier that kind of thing. Generally avoid melee kits or vanguards (except the KroGuard) - have never used my melee-specced Cabal in platinum.

On gold I take any kit. I tried every kit on Gold and all of them can bang. But like all things in live, some kits are just suited for you. Some kits I just don't get that good. Like I can play with the Asari Sentinel, but I run into certain people who turn the Asari Sentinel into a queen of genocide. ( I bow to you dear sir, you know who you are)

So the moral of the story is... just try all kits on gold and see what it does for you. Some kits really turn into a surprise and become favorites and some turn into projects... And by projects I mean... switching builds a lot.
