[Falastur]

    Hey guys, I am a modder who is relatively amateur in ability.  I've been modding for years but I've pretty much stayed in the realm of modding what I understand: texture modding, changing values in the .ini.  Modeling is juuuust beyond my skill set and I've never really understood alpha channels and pretty much all of the various "maps".  I know, it's sad, but, like everyone here, I *am* self taught.  I am proud of the things that I am able to do and am always interested in learning more and improving.  I usually do this by trying a project and learning new things as I run into various road blocks.
    Which brings me to why I  am posting.  I am currently playing Mass Effect 2 and my Shepard is romancing Garrus; a while ago I stumbled upon some fan art that portrayed Garrus and FemShep together with FemShep sporting Garrus's face paint.  I fell in love with the look and when I started my new playthrough I thought it would be great to give my FemShep the facepaint after she and Garrus became a couple.  I've hit some snags and I would love it if anyone had some ideas or advice they would like to share.  My current efforts have produced face paint that is kind of a shiny silver color (not the blue I was going for) and is soaring towards her temples instead of laying horizontally on her cheek bones.  Anyone want to give me a few pointers?
