 when I played mass effect 2 and I've had genesis installed even if I imported my save the genesis comic movie will run and give me nice rundown of what happened on the previous game.

I bought the genesis for mass effect 3 and I thought it will be same thing but it does not work.

Genesis on ME3 only work if I create non imported new character?

Genesis 2 limits Shepard's preparation for the Suicide mission. It's impossible to recruit everyone, do all loyalty missions/install upgrades, and rescue the crew imediately. That may prevent it from being able to give a rundown of individual imports

no no no, I'm talking about genesis on Mass Effect 3 not on mass effect 2.

you got DLC on ME3 named genesis which I thought worked like the one on mass effect 2 but importing my save it does not start.

Right, I mean the whole recruitment and preparation aspect of ME2 is more than a matter of "Did you do this or did you do that?" I don't think the Genesis comic can account for all the possible permutations of an imported save, so it simply doesn't play at all inthat case.

At least, that is what I suspect.

thing is even with the limited options it had on MASS EFFECT 2 the genesis played and showed your choices while keeping all of your save file flags from first game and on ME3 it does not play at all.. weird.

I guess not being able to accurately show who lived and who died in the Suicide mission was decided to be too big a deal.
