Not so strange if EA is the one that maintains this. I've never known them to announce anything they may be working on fixing. And I'm still showing that the online storage still isn't working which means no character or achievement uploads.L00p wrote...

You're probably right, although it bugs me they have a "policy" of not telling when they're doing some maintenance.
*If* it's maintenance and not them making server capacity ready for Inquisition.

Then when they do fix them, the server will crash due to data overload

Hmm... that's a possibility. Dragon Age Keep beta testing will start the first of the year, I believe. But it's odd to have it down for well over a week, if not weeks.L00p wrote...

I'm surprised there's no official announcement. Anyone knows where I should go for an official reaction? I'm more used to googling for answers, but on this problem there needs to be an official statement on what is going on.

I had a simulair conversation a few hours ago. They told me they had problems with the servers, couldn't tell me a thing about when it was done, but they where trying to fix it as soon as possible (I forgot to save a version of it O_O). They told me to check the forums about it, yet they made no anouncemnt about problems with there servers, makes me wonder where the anouncement we've fixt it will be entered, cause they sayd it would be anounced O_O...
Just to show how much there getting btw. I also asked if my steam had version 1.05 already, cause by the last patched there was standing for steam not need to download it patches itself, and I didn't see that now. They told me to manualy patch it. I downloaded the patch and it sayd: this is not for steam installations, run steam and let it update to patch...
Cause I added a new HDD (S:/) and reinstalled steam there instead of on my C:/, I can't play with DLC, as I haven't downloaded it yet. After many gameplays with Ultimate, I don't want to play without DLC anymore, so I literally told them I would not play DA:O until it was fixt. She felt oh so sorry for me...

Strange way of doing customer service, since such a practice only serves to ****** people off in the long run. Making both the company and its stock suffer, and of course the customer service employees themselves, when they have to handle the 2nd, 3rd and 4th message from customers growing frustrated from their continued aching "leg".

I couldnt log in to the BSN suddenly, it said my info was wrong, and I think it has to do with making an account on the SWTOR site, but then after 2 different chats with game advisors (the first one said I had to merge accounts - and guess what they only do that through phone and there is no phone support for my country lol, fortunately there was no need) changing my email worked. I got really happy.
But when I tried to login to DAO... says my info is incorrect, and the message on top says Im logged out, even though my email and passwords and everything else looks like Im logged in, including the little online status on the left bottom of the menu screen says "logged in" lol. BUT when I click on my online profile option on there it looks like Im logged out cause my achievements are gone, but my screenshots are all there (but I cant upload).
I closed the game and came here to my profile to check diagnostics and see the error: Unable to connect to the online storage server.
So yeah same problem I guess. Ugh Ive changed my EA password like 8 times already in the last 3 days. They really should make an announcement or something, but hey its EA, I never expect anything good.

It shouldn't have anything to do with your making an account on SWTOR - I've never played SWTOR and have only played Dragon Age: Origins lately, and everything was great until one day it suddenly said my username/password is incorrect. No warning, no nothing.

This is what bugs me as well (mentally speaking, not literal, my DA:O install is fine right now): if you buy the Ultimate Edition with the DLC's on disc, you still got to authenticate them online. I hope, if they ever quit the support for DA:O, Bioware will do so after releasing a final patch that removes the need for online authentication. I hate DRM.
