there has been amazing feats produced by both kits but which kit would reign supreme head to head in terms of overall effectiveness? And I'm not talking about score I'm talking HOW many kills. Kill per second. Survivability. And best chance to extract and/or carry and clutchness and solo ability.

Bsn wats ur thoughts on the two powerhouses head to head comparisons?

Depends on player skill, even more so than most class comparisons. A good player will wreck with either, but do so faster with a GI. GT specced into Flamer is nearly as much a noobcrutch as the Juggy; it doesn't take much ability or experience to spam the same massive-damage-rapid-cooldown ability for 20 minutes nonstop.

GI. This shouldn't even be a question. GT is bad and should feel bad.

Huntermode in general is by far the crutchiest thing in game even above hosting

I'm a cain mine and this post offends me.

Depends how you qualify better. If you wanna compare you have to put them in the same conditions and, therefore, it'll change with the skills of the player. That being said, GI has an insane damage output and, most of all, is more versatile. It's undoubtably better than the Weapon Trooper (lol tac cloak and proxy) and less mindlessly boring than the flamer build (which leaves you in the open for max dps).

You can't call facts things that are only based on the players skills.

@krogan errant. Cain mines are only the second most powerful grenade.. so its not op. Inferno nades actually does more damage and can get cheesed off...

As you tend towards perfect aimbotness Talon GI becomes better than Geth Trooper (with Acolyte and/or Reegar.) A mere mortal like me would probably do better with the Trooper.

@ZAE:  I disagree about Cain mines being not as good as inferno grenades though, Immediate damage is always better than DOT because enemies will respawn together because they were killed together.  Inferno grenades usually kill enemies at different times over the 8 second interval, so that if anyone on the team moves during that interval, the spawns will end up more disorganized.

Understood. But the power of gi and gt will quickly surpass extra makeshift spawn missiles. Personally I think the gt is slightly better based off the solos I've seen and personal experience.

dafuq.

I never see people playing Geth unless they're from the BSN and then when they do play, they spec completely out of Hunter Mode because, and I quote, "I die too much." What is your definition of crutch Zae? Because you're confusing the shit out of me right now.

@prosthetic... definition of crutch we should discuss this another topic later as it would demand its own thread
