On topic (from an average/scrubby player's perspective): took the GT flamer to gold & plat much sooner than my GI ('cause, of course, easier). Haven't mastered the GI but find him a great kit to try out different weapons with.

I got a quite a few on my friendlist who are great gamers and good people. Some guys get really hurt when a gurl outscores them.

IDK. I hate flamer kits for the most part but every once and a while you have someone that actually play it properly and it's not a problem. Played an all Vorcha game yesterday and I don't recall being freaking blinded one time. I think the Geth Trooper gets a lot of hate because of misuse of his power.

This is one of the silliest reasons I've read so far in this thread.

Given how sometimes you're putting in extra with a sub-par kit/weapon or mix thereof it is slightly aggravating how easy it is to achieve the same result otherwise.
Cos you know, pressing two or three buttons deserve more recognition than pressing one. That's a whole lot more work involved.
For actual reasons, the amount of flamer spam in recent pugs is becoming atrocious. A flamer GT or vorcha sol/sentinel is easier to come by than a infiltrator sometimes. Worse still when it's a small map and the whole game is visions of dancing flames or chorus of CHAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO repeated every few seconds until the game ends. Talk about visual and audio blackout.
