My point on topic was stated as clear as i could, my opinion on flamer wasn't even in the first post.

I think Chromatix put it best. A well played GI will always be better than whatever a GT can do. But forgetting crutch or cheese arguments, It would be interesting to compare a GT flamer build using a reegar and a GI for pure DPS.
With incendiary ammo and the flamer, you can do insane amounts of damage. Add that to a team that can detonate FEs and the pure DPS could rival or possibly even surpass the GI in my opinion.

The platinum solos recorded by many players if u search google suggest the gt is the better kit. Flamer is more dps than tac cloak amped weapon

A few things:

1) If Bioware cared about balance, those things would be razed
2) Those things are ruining the challenge and the fun

Hey, you know what. Bioware gave this game an open source. Why wouldn't we use it to get 99999 dps weapon? Bioware didn't care about fixing credit hacks, why don't we get 10000000000 off the first game?

Because it is NOT fun.

This is bad gamebalance design. Why doesn't it happen in majority of other games? It gets razed.

When someone playing Babylon - OP Faction - in Civilization, he gets all the hate from other players and gets destroyed. Why? Because playing with OP is not fun. This is why pro players also don't use Babylon. Because it's not fun to play OP.
This is just an example from the game with screwed up balance.

When Blizzard had Demon Hunters too op in Diablo, people playing Demon Hunters were scorned, because they were OP. It wasn't fun playing with them and for some people, it was not fun playing them, since they were ruining the challenge.
But it was fixed, because Blizzard cares about balance. If Blizzard had Reegar in Diablo, it would be nerfed as well. This is an example of developers fighting OP things.


I hope you're not as retarded as i think and you will get my point. People who want to have fun dislike things that are _too_ OP and things that are ruining fun (I like killing a ****load of enemies by myself a lot more than using one of 36 missiles (per team) to send them to hell instantly)
