I've still got 9 left but I've been taking data for SPs so I'm guessing it will still be a while before I max. After that I'm going to see if my friend will let me use his second account so I can keep collecting data.

50 Spectre Packs--6 UR weapons, 1 UR character upgrade...no doubles (heh).

Just spent 2 million on spectre packs.

First 10 were empty.
1 UR.
7 empty.
1 UR.
17 empty.

Total: 36 SP, 2 UR.

Purchased one AP with the leftovers, no UR's

As an side-note, I did get 8 respec cards, a much better haul than AP's give, and a decent haul of level III consumables too.

The wasted slots given over to character cards were an annoyance though since I don't promote any more, so I still think that AP's would have been a better buy for me, so I might switch back.

Recruit packs for people who prioritise promoting>consumables, and don't care about UR's.
SP's for people who prioritise consumables>promotions>UR's.
RP's for people who prioritise UR's>promotions>consumables.
PSP's for people who prioritise UR's>consumables>promotions.
AP's for people who prioritise UR's>consumables, and don't promote at all.

Would you agree with that comrade, or is that oversimplified?

Since Returning to MP I have purchased 14 SP and recieved 2 UR and 2 Respec Cards

All the data collection I've done has been for PSPs and SPs so those are the only packs I can comment on. As far as consumables and URs I would say what you have written is pretty accurate but, at least for SPs, as far as I can recall I have rarely seen any xp cards though I haven't been on the lookout for them. My PSP puchases were too long ago for me to recall how frequently I saw xp cards.

I started tracking my UR weapon tally when I maxed out all my rares except characters. My UR characters were already maxed out.

Since then I have got 50 SPs, 2 PSPs and an AP. 1 measly UR weapon has dropped, so I've been getting a less than 2.5% drop rate. 8 pieces of level 4 equipment have dropped.

Thanks for the data. All of us get bad streaks from time to time and it looks like you've gotten one when you started keeping track.

Something I noticed in the document

while the ammo and consumables in the 99k packs will vary in level from I-III.

I'm sure all the equipment in 99k packs will be level III.

Also I found this link today



In it he spends 50million credits on PSPs and receives 83 UR weapon upgrades. Although you already have a lot of data on PSPs I thought you might be interested to see that this cost of approx 600k/UR is more or less in line with your results.

An interesting consequence of this is that you'd need approx 120 million credits to (on average) max your manifest without spending on anything else like JEPs. Assuming a 150k/hr payout that would be 800hrs. Wow. That payout might be low (depends difficulty) but taking into account creds that must be spent on equip I would say it's an ok estimate.

Another interesting factoid can be derived from your double UR analysis. You find 17 double URs from 3395 packs, if the average player has to buy approx 1300 (of the 99k) packs to max their manifest then they should expect to receive on average 6 double UR packs during that journey. Of course the real number will probably be lower because some SPs will be mixed in.

That would match with what I've seen so far.

Spent 2 million on AP packs.

First was empty.
Second had 1 UR.
The next 18 were empty.

20 packs, 1 UR, no doubles.  The store hates me.

Also, I only got 2 reset cards and a handful of weapon amps. Mountains of ammo and armour consumables at level IV though. I might alternate SP's and AP's.
