My last 2 million credits.
5 AP then 5 RP then 10 PSP
= 0 UR

I just maxed my manifest, getting EIGHT UR's with just 2.6 million! ^_^ 
 

I started off buying AP's

 

The first 4 were empty.

2 had a single UR.
5 empty.
1 with a single UR

2 empty.
2 with a single UR
5 empty.
1 with a single UR

The last 1 was empty.
 
23 AP's, 6 UR's, 0 doubles.
 
I switched to SPs next.
 
The first 1 was empty.
1 with a UR.
3 empty.
The last 1 had a single UR.
 
6 SP's, 2 UR's.

 

Congrats on the max.

Quick question: does "empty" mean "no ultra rare"? It's somewhat obvious, but asking just in case, my manifest is very fresh and I don't know how drops behave when you have more stuff (like, more items unlocked/maxed and such).

 

Just asking so that I can contribute next time I'll buy something.

 

Empty means no UR drops in the pack(s).

I doubt the drop rate ever changes.

The official drop rate for UR's in PSPs is 7.5%, assuming the server chooses that pack for you (there are 3).
The balance changes Coalesced files define it as .075f, which is 7.5%.

So technically it's 4 days, but I've only played 1 hour combine within those 2 days. 

 

Farmed around 2m

 

500k went to jumbo packs

 

and 1.5m went to AP

I don't get how my data gets thrown out the window like that in this topic? Unless folks really don't believe the data I gave in? Because it basically says my average was every 7.5 packs I would get an UR. And yes, that's a crazy high drop rate!

 

But even from the start I was thinking maybe the store throws in some other variables? Like when was the last time you bought a pack and how many hours total you have in? (As my total game hours were very high to have an average of about lvl.4 for all URs) Why I wanted so badly to do one massive sample size from just one person doing non-stop back to back shopping at one time. And I'm very happy with my results.

 

If my theory is correct, then I would of had pretty much the same abnormal drop rate with any other 99 UR pack.

 

 

 

 

And sadly I don't think anyone will ever do a sample as the one I did. Cause nobody ever seems willing to play with all but UR weapons like I used to always play like for the most part before the big spend. That or match the crazy amount of hours I had before ready to do the big spend.

 

EDIT - my sample size is on page 22 (total of 86 URs for 62990200 in game cash)

You actually said "something like" that amount spent. Which is too vague to be useful.

 

The proper way to report data is type of pack, # bought, # of URs, (# of doubles if any), (optionally the sequence e.g. first 8 empty, then 1 UR, next 2 empty, then 1 UR, etc.).

No. That's the exact amount I spent. I got 86 URs from that amount. And you mean to tell me you can't figure out the math for this? Even without doing any math. That is a very high drop rate. And I did mark exactly every purchase I made with doubles, dry spells and blah blah blah on piece of paper while doing it in tally form. Don't know where that paper is and don't care. The gist of it is black and white. (Though is was very nice so see a visual of it all writing down, there's no way I'm going to the trouble of posting or even taking a pic it for here. Cause again, the main point is very clear. So don't know why some of you are beating around the bush at such obvious info?)

 

But whatever. I really don't care what others think. My manifest is maxed. Just thought it'd be very great to share this info for those that don't have it maxed. As I sure would of loved to of had someone share this info before I maxed my manifest.

The game file data says 7.5%, and the plethora of data collectively gathered in this thread say around the same percentage, but you believe it varies based on personal factors known only to you.

The who knows what factors are already known. They have been disclosed to me in a dream about 1 year and 36 days. I have it all scribbled up somewhere here but I can't be arsed to post pictures now.

 

I've been offering this information against a modest fee for the Worthy but since Cashsuit runs rampant I can as well bestow this wisdom upon you as well:

You have to sacrifice a PuG in the Reactor. It has to be Gold involved. 3 PuGs is the cap. You will smile each Thursday on the purchase of two Arsenal packs around midnight Helsinki time. Don't look behind while you enter the store. A toothbrush may topple while you do it and give you a funny feeling.

Wait, what? Where does game data say 7.5%? (That's the number I brought up) And I thought all folks have always been saying it's like 10 or more % since forever? In other words, I don't know what your talking about?

Having heard a myth that it's best to stop buying packs after you get your UR for the day because of how the RNG and the seed work, I'm here to post a confirmation to the opposite. I got a PSP after two matches in a row last night (I don't stockpile credits, since I'd rather get that UR sooner so I can use it to get more credits faster.) These two packs had a UR each, back to back (Javelin X and Saber IV.)

 

I'm basically certain that myth has been debunked by now by credit hoarders, but I didn't have time to sift through the whole thread again like I did a fe months ago, sorry.

Look further up the same page we're on. Mgamerz found the actual drop rates in the game files. It's listed as 7.5% for each rare slot for each pack.

In the OP, there's a link to a PDF with the data gathered that confirms that drop rate.

The OP also has the guidelines submitted data must follow to be considered for inclusion.

I'd link/copy it directly but I'm on my phone posting this, sorry. Hope this helps in some way.
