 So far in various threads on here, we discussed who planned to preorder or who was thinking or preordering. So I want to know want you would want as part of the preorder perks (e.g. a pdf of the full DAI guide) and how much would you be willing to spend on a preorder.

I for one would spend $60 (not including tax) maximum on a DAI preorder although I'm still not sure if I actually plan to preoder (I wasn't going to bother b/c Bioware has been a disappointment lately, but all the leaks of the gameplay made me hopeful again).
For perks, I definitely would love a full guide for the game (pdf, but I would prefer a physical copy if possible so I can actually read the guide as I play the game). 
Dog as a perk if he is not in the vanilla game. 
And also some rings/amulets and weapons that are SLIGHTLY better than items that you would usually start with. I don't want items that are too powerful b/c then it would make the game less challenging and (imo) less fun (like some of the special items in DA2).

What about you?

As someone who pre-orders all of BioWare's games, I don't think pre-order should get you anything extra. Though I understand EA loves pre-orders so there will probably be something.

Any type of item like Bianca. A weapon that will grow with you, or some such.

I just want the DLC to be included with the CE, since I'm getting that. Otherwise, I hate physical rewards. I prefer physical copies of games, but if this CE has physical rewards, I'm going to look to see if the CE doesn't give us digital rewards like a DLC discount which I actually get value out of.

I don't really like the type of weapons that evolve/level up with you unless it is Bianca. But I would like a collector's box, a few powerful weapons/armor/accessories that I can't use right away and because I love the series I would pay the maximum for it.

Dragon Age 2 was full of "extras" that I immediately shoved into storage and never used. Hopefully, any "extras" in Inquisition have more than a 5 minute max shelf life.

If there is a "collector's edition", I wouldn't mind artwork and/or some kind of making of/documentary disk. I remember Mass Effect 1 having such a disk, and I was psyched to play the game for the first time just after watching the disk and knowing little about the game otherwise. Perhaps the "collector's edition" could also have a bit of Varric's chest hair included.

The fact it didn't work for my DA2 preorder is a good part of the reason I won't be preordering DAI.

Uh...swag? Yes, that incredibly vague.

Look, the truth is that, given recent history, it's highly likely that DA: I is going to have a choose-your-flavor preorder. Depending on which retailer you preorder from, including buying it as a download on Origin, you'll get some shiny toy that in all likelyhood won't be useful by the half-way point of the game.

That having been said, I'll put some real thought into this...hm...you know what sold me on the CE version of DA2? The Black Emporium. The Mirror and the Mabari (yes, I'm a dog person) had me at the word go. On the flipside, we had ME preorder packs that were all equipment. The overwhelming majority of which I never used. I'd like something along the line of the Black Emporium. What I know I don't care about in the least is physical items. The exception being a cloth map. I would love a quality map of Thedas to hang on my wall alongside th emany other such maps I have hung on to from the games of my youth.

I don't think a weapon that levels with you would work with the item crafting system they proposed.

What I'm thinking is special rewards for item customization. Like the ability to make Nug skulls to put in your armor or weapon.

I want to have the brand, as a weapon, that was use to in the rite of tranquility, and use it against the templars. It's bitter sweet revenge for all the poor mages that became fallen victims of the brand.

I want to burn each templars foreheads (Since I'm a mage I can light up the brand with my magic) with the sunburt brand, and see how they like having an ugly scarification on their forehead for the rest of their lives.

Kickass armour for sure. Maybe a special mount? I don't care for CE weapons really, it's the mabari hounds and N7 hoodie type DLCs I enjoy. As for a physical item , I'd love one of the inquisitor's rings.

I will be getting the Collector's Edition.. so for that I would like some exclusive content (weapons/armor/accessory), soundtrack, steelcase book for the game, maybe a map of Thedas, and stickers *Make it happen Bioware*'!

As for the pre-order bonuses, maybe some extra exclusive DLC/companion.
