We're not talking CE stuff, but just preorder bonus? I'd want the game on time and if possible, like BW did with DA:O, the character creator some time before release so I can get started with that and immediately start playing once I have the full game. Maybe a short techdemo in the new engine to see the character in there after finishing the creation. But nothing else, no special preorder DLCs, items, companions, etc. and most importantly I don't want some of them for amazon, some for Gamestop and so on. The bonus should be the same for everyone who preordered.

We'll see how it'll turn out, but this is my opinion on this matter. :-)

I'll be happy with a few perks to get me into the game early. I liked the weapons/armor that grew with you and if something like the black emporium/mirror is part of it I'll consider it a wise investment.

Whatever it is, I hope it isn't retailer exlclusive. Or at least available separately. Pay $60 for base game at this retailer? Or $120 for an extra sword and THAT retailer? Real no-brainer. But I still hate missing out on content.

I will probably be getting the digital version so i want the usual like the DAI music in mp3 format, PDF files for artwork and things, video scenes they make pre game for public and whatever.

I would like to buy playing cards with DAI images similar to TW2.

The game...? And... whatever it costs? (Usually £25-30 for PC game in the UK, ~$45) I mean, pre-ordering is just a way of making sure the box drops through my door on release day. If I really want extras I'll pre-order the CE/SE/whatever-it's-called.

If getting bonus items via pre-orders or Collector's Editions, I believe those bonus items should be part of a side quest, so we still earn the items in-game. I don't like starting with badass stuff out of nowhere. ><

hopefully they won't have day one dlc this game...
I didn't really mind the little things like the weapons and such. They weren't too overpowered in the game.

I don't want or need anything. I only pre-order a few days before release IF they allow pre-loading the game.

So, I guess the only thing I want for a pre-order is to allow pre-loading of the game prior to release. Still won't see my pre-order more than a week in advance though.

The equipment (armor, rings, weapon) of the last Inquisitor from 1000 years ago, that can be upgraded so it stays relevant.

I'll consider pre-ordering if I can the game and any significant day 1 DLC for £30 or less. Otherwise I won't.

I don't expect anything special with a regular pre-order.. I suppose just for it to arrive on time? I suppose I can see them throwing in some extra armor or something. I recently snagged a good deal with GTA V from the Microsoft score and free 1600 MS Points. Something like that would definitely make me preorder, as I tend to wait for lower prices anyway.

A pizza delivery coupon, a case of seltzer water, and pausable cutscenes.

Seriously, they don't have to give me a prize to preorder. But if they're determined to go with the retailer exclusives this time around, I'd like it if they made the items available for purchase. For example, if you buy it at Best Buy and get a pendant and get it at Amazon and get a belt and get it at the BioWare store and get a helmet, make the pendant/belt/helmet combo pack available for $10 or something as an add-on. Because mutual exclusivity drives me bonkers.

So far in various threads on here, we discussed who planned to preorder or who was thinking or preordering. So I want to know want you would want as part of the preorder perks (e.g. a pdf of the full DAI guide) and how much would you be willing to spend on a preorder.

I for one would spend $60 (not including tax) maximum on a DAI preorder although I'm still not sure if I actually plan to preoder (I wasn't going to bother b/c Bioware has been a disappointment lately, but all the leaks of the gameplay made me hopeful again).
For perks, I definitely would love a full guide for the game (pdf, but I would prefer a physical copy if possible so I can actually read the guide as I play the game).
Dog as a perk if he is not in the vanilla game.
And also some rings/amulets and weapons that are SLIGHTLY better than items that you would usually start with. I don't want items that are too powerful b/c then it would make the game less challenging and (imo) less fun (like some of the special items in DA2).

What about you?

Nothing that changes the game. Nothing even remotely associatable with DLC.
A nice artbook or a guidebook or a soundtrack or a Making Of special, or a statuette.
Those sorts of things.

I'd like bioware points you can spend on a future DAI DLC of your choosing.
