I know this may have been answered but I can't find it anywhere. But can someone please explain to be the following. So I see a staff that says 33 physical damage (45 per second). What does this actually mean? As in why are there two numbers? If I attack it is suppoised to do 33 pts of damage, correct? Is the 45 having to so with how fast I press each attack? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I really want to know.

In Dragon Age there is a attack speed (in PC we don't even have to click for each attack), so 33 is the damage for each attack and 45 is that multiplied for the attack speed so you can compare it with slower or faster weapons.
