 I doubt a patch will happen. It's quite a big process to make a patch, just think of what you have to do as a manager, you have to set up a job, divert people away from the next Mass Effect. Those people then have to inspect, plan, fix and test the adjustments to the code, then it gets reviewed possibly by management before being processed onto consoles and it costs to patch a game on the 360.

It takes quite a bit of planning and resources for even a small fix.
