Zaeed, Hammerhead and an additional planet will be free.

The only caveat is that Hammerhead will not be released Day1 (but it shouldnt be too long after release).

If i have a chance later, i will address a number of the issues brought up on this forum, and hopefully set the record straight.

For now, I just want to reiterate that we care about our customers. The people (most of you, in fact) who are buying the game new deserve additional content. This Cerberus content is *additional* and it was not cut from the main game and given away. For a game like ME2, Casey and the production staff would never allow that. We have spent thousands of developer hours on this free content and know that it compliments the main ME2 storyline.

Thanks Gamble, some of us try to keep the nay sayers from going to crazy over unofficial information. I think it is really smart to shower people with free DLC and also offer paid DLC for those who just can't get enough.

Since the cerberus network is in-game, I take it you need to have an xbox live gold account to access it. So it's not actually free. It would be better if we could download things through the marketplace where you can just have a silver account.

Wrong. You don't need Xbox live Gold to access DLC. Gold is for multiplayer and occasional bonuses.

You would probably be fine with a silver account. Since it doesn't use XBL, it uses Cerberus network and bioware servers. So you should be fine with silver.

Cue four more people to ask "Is the Hammerhead free?"

...followed by two more people asking "Does everyone get access to the Cerberus Network, or just Collector's Edition buyers?"  and one last jerk complaining that he thought the Cerberus Network access was exclusive to the CE.

Xbox Live Silver is free, you can buy DLC with enough MS Points but this Cerberus Network is free ofcourse, all the DLC from it. Xbox Live Gold is something you gotta pay for.

I think I'm going to start loving Mr. Gamble... since he gave me the reply that noone gave me before on the old ME forums.. it was about the VO languages present on the PC version dvds.. and he just told me that you can choose English over your localized VO!!!

Even if I <3 BioWare since the very first Baldur's Gate.. my <3 for them grows bigger and stronger! :o

To me this cerberus network thing seems like a good idea, more developers need to realize that solutions like this are much more viable alternative to ridonculous DRM.
