Still hope we will get a trailer about the DLC and the Cerberus Card...
All the Dragon Age DLC got trailers, including Shale/The Stone Prisoner, so that's a good sign

I'm guessing no. This initial stuff will be free, then they go back to charging for it. I could be wrong.Squallypo wrote...
so all dlc is gonna be free of charge o:? for using the cerberus network card?
Oh, good point. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/unsure.png[/smilie]Behindyounow wrote...
The Cerberus card gives players access to the Cerberus Network? And it comes free with any new copy of the game?
What
about in the UK? According to GAME retailers, the cerberus card is only
available in the CE version of the game, i personally find this a bit
of a kick in teeth as all of the day one DLC won't be available to
people with standard versions of the game.
Does anyone have a
confirmation that this is the case, that the card and the subsequent
DLC is only available from the CE game in the UK?

I'm fully expecting to have to pay for the Hammerhead since it not available from launch. But, I'm naturally cynical, so *Shrug*Oh, good point. [smilie]../../../../images/forum/emoticons/unsure.png[/smilie]Behindyounow wrote...

Both discs are FULL, read it: FULL. That first DLC is under 500 megs, and free, then the next content which will most likely be less than a month later, the one with the armor, shotgun and Hammerhead, will also be FREE.
My guess is small weapon additions and a few planets and maybe a few missions will be periodically added as FREE content. Larger type DLC like Expansions or maybe a an entire Cluster addition complete with its own group of Solar Systems and Planets, and maybe a large weapon and armor pack, that kind of stuff will COST.
Voice actors cost money you know. The whole, they are money grubbing thieves argument gets old once you realize how much money it takes to make the DLC, some of what you will be getting for free, cost money. There is no way that the Day One DLC and the group after that didn't cost a pretty penny to make. Though from the sounds they did have to cut that out so they could fit everything onto 2 discs, but they are releasing it for FREE, don't complain.
It will be interesting to see how many more gigs ME2 will have expanded by the time ME3 gets released.
I don't see how. For as long as I've known you, you've always been right.Chaos-fusion wrote...

Huh. Calm and reasonable responses so far. So this is the Mako replacement that they would neither confirm or deny. So people who don't get the Hammerhead, are they stuck traveling vehicle maps on foot? That sucks.

I think it would be a great business move to offer access to free DLC (Cerberus Card) with new purchases of the game, but charge anyone else for DLC. Essentially the company makes the new copy of the game the cheapest way to own the game and DLC content. Also serves as incentive not to pirate.
Not saying that is how it will be, but it makes business sense to me
