I said, if he really has done good for the community other than the SPECTRE events and isnt lying, then good on him. That doesnt change my opinion on him about classes, and how people want to play.

I would still use the damage barrel, heat sink and the best AP ammo you have.  I find this set up sync's beter with cloaks cooldown.

Glacier is for speed - there are easier maps.

Megabeast has done a couple of guides for kits like the Slayer.  They have helped to reduce my scrubbiness by a bit.

I'd agree with going for maxing out the Proximity Mine (specced for damage) and only going to rank 4 of the fitness thingy (advanced AI or whatever it is called). Also, maybe try out a shotgun on your GI instead of the Hurricane? I say this because your Hurricane is only at the first level which may be a problem, so using a good shotgun that you have leveled up more may be better.

Don't change your build for more PM damage if you are already one-shotting Husks.  Adding a little more damage will do absolutely nothing.  Not sure why people keep telling you to do that despite the fact that you already had said your build does this earlier in the thread, and the fact that they should know Rank 5 PM will kill Gold husks with a little help from a single power damage evolution in Networked AI.

Honestly I think Reapers on Glacier is a strange choice for a first Gold solo.  Why not do what others suggested and go Giant if you want to do Reapers?  You will have more room to maneuver and learn the basics of a solo.  After you get that under your belt you can try some other maps and factions.

I don't know how worried you are about going for speed, but I would drop Armored Compartments and just go Stronghold for gear to make your life easier.  Then run Cyclonic or Shield Power Cells for the armor consumable.

Try a game with disruptor ammo and the HVB. Perhaps your current playstyle will benefit from the crowd control you'll get from disruptor+proxies tech bursts. You will also knock banshees out of there teleport mode a bit quicker and prevent their barrier from regenerating as fast.

i agree.

reapers seems like the worst choice. if you are unlucky and get a 'disablethe devices' objective it'll be incredibly difficult with banshees running around

Since you want to do it with this set up and struggle with the Banshees, I'd recommend to stop them first(easier in a solo) and slay the rest. Although a Banshee will die pretty fast too. Waves 5, 8, 9 and 10 have double Banshees. If you get targets on wave 3 you can use a missile to change it to a Marauder or a Brute, but not necessary. On wave 6 it's just gonna be Brutes, so don't waste a missile. On wave 5 you could use 1 missile for the last 2 Banshees, but not really worth imo. I'd use 2 nukes on 8 and 3 on 9. With good nukes on 9, you won't have to face Banshees anymore. That would leave you with 1 for wave 10 targets or clean up.

Have you considered changing the enemy? Reapers are a pain when soloing on small maps. If you really wanna do it against reapers: what N7didacus said.

Against Rippas you'd be better off with taking headshot damage in passives and taking damage evo 6 in proxy mine instead of shield recharge.

One nooby/ scrub question; how the hell are you controlling the recoil on the hurricane again?

The hurricane still has recoil for me on 55 percent stability from turian passives and +30 percent stability from barrage load out.
