I just hosted a PUG lolsilver just to test it out (I had it at level I on the TSol), and in came a Batarian vangaurd with a Harrier II and Reagar VII. Another player also entered with a Reagar VII (I forgot his kit).  They both had 1000+ N7s and 10000+ CPs.

I expected them to dominate the scoreboard. They didn't. The Batgaurd outscored me by 3k, and the other one got outscored by me by 10k.

Now, either the Reagar isn't as cheesy as the BSN says it is, and the M-55 Argus is the best gun in the game, or there is such a thing is a terribad Silver PUG (there are only inexperienced one in my previous expereince.

What system are you on? Reegar is apparently a lot more OP on the PC.

The fact that most pugs either don't know how to use the lolreegar or somehow fail to hit things with it doesn't change that it's beyond broken.

Yeah it apparently fires a lot more blanks at lower framerates so it's crazy for people who have like 120 fps. Though, congratz anyway on doing well with the argus. I need to try it on the Tsol, never have but then again I've used the gun maybe three times ever...

Edit: not saying the reegar isn't OP on consoles btw, just that it isn't as ridiculously OP...

Don't bother stroking, I think it retracted back into your body at the mention of lolsilver.

I recall Cyonan ran some test using a lolreegar with its base damage cut in half; and decided that it still was massively OP. I'm sure its slightly less effective at 30 instead of 60+ fps, but there isn't a weapon out there that can even come close to what the lolreegar can do.

I agree, though I've heard from some friends who have both that the PS3 version is a mere shadow of the PC version, kinda like the game as a whole

I don't have both though so I can't speak from personal experience.

I was using a Predator I and the guy above me was using a Reegar X does Cryo ammo count towards the broken thing

I know. I don't think I'll ever love it on Gold+. The refire rate, even with Marksman, is way to high. When I want some on-the-spot DPS, it never seems to be availible.

That doesn't mean I still won't use it once in a while. I have to admit, it is fun to use.

I think the Argus is bad so of course I need to l2p.
Burst fire weapons in general really annoy me in this game, why do they have worse recoil than full auto guns?

It probably was. I think I only saw him Charge once or twice the entire game.
