Why is the general consensus of BSN that Cerby are easier than Reapers?

Honest clarification requested.  No trolling intended.

They are not easier than Reapers. The Reapers just take longer because the Banshees chase you around the map messing up the positioning and wasting time.

I find cereberus easier to counter then reapers.

mainly it's face mating husks, teleporting double banshee and ofc triple brute which makes you run around the room.

cerebrus troops are mostly easy to stun, slow, and only annoying are dragoons which easy to counter with splosions and phantoms which only need little stun or nade to die peacefully.

The time you spend running from two banshees is time you're not killing things. If you're kiting on a big and easy map like Giant, Rippas are actually easier. On a small map like Glacier when you're going for a fast time, Cerberus is easier.

because the only decent unit on the cerby squad is the phantom. everything else dies too easily. especially the atlas

I'm asking because I envy those of you that are able to do sub-20-minute FB:Glacier solos.  I did this earlier today:








... and finally got lucky Objective Waves:

Wave 3:  Targets.
Wave 6:  Targets.
Wave 10:  Pizza.

(And, Air Quotes, no, I did not hax my coalesced.bin to eliminate Devices x4.  In fact, I forgot all about it. :happy:)

Even given those "quick" objectives, 29 minutes?  Not trolling, and not e-peen, but I wasn't happy about it.  It's, "how come I can't do it as fast as some of you guys?  WTF am I *not* doing?"

To this moment, a number of you say that Cerby is easy.  Honestly, I SUCK against Cerby, and gotta l2pCerby.  Another question:  is it possible to sub-20 solo FB:Glacier/Cerby/Gold without using Acolyte nor Armored Compartments?

 Yes.  I don't think I'd try to do it with the Fury though.

- no Acolyte.

- no spawn-nuking
- no game mechanics exploit.

Brutes are stupid and the brute ai is easy to manipulate get them to charge while shooting them then dodge it and continue shooting they die in one clip of my level one hurricane (with heat sink and extended clips that is)...stop it

OP...Reapers are easiest because the AI is easy to manipulate...Reapers dont  shoot back only marauders and cannibals and they are easy to stagger and shoot down. All the rest of them hit hard but are easy to manipulate and and kill...once you make a banshee stop shes pretty much a sitting duck...ravagers are only deadly with line of sight otherwise they are weak..summary reapers are weak and for the most part stupid AI that you can easily take advantage of their mechanics

Taking Advantage of Reapers Mechanics 101

Cannibals and husks stagger and shoot them down

Marauders stagger and shoot. If trying to escape a Marauders lolPheaston run past them close enough so that they will do the melee animation it will buy you time to escape. Dont run directly in front of the Marauder or else his melee will hit you simply side swipe him. (learned that from a close friend)

Brute shoot them...get them to charge dodge it...continue shooting...anticipate brute movements they are easy to dodge

Ravagers dont let them get a line of sight. Use right hand advantage so that you can shoot them but they cant hit you. They are easy to kill their armor is the weakest. If up close to ravager try to stay behind the ravager while shooting them by circling it as it moves to get a line of sight on you...they dont take long to kill..dont get in front of it if up close

Banshees....they can only sync kill you when they are jumping around...get them to stop...they will try warping you but they are easy to dodge...however after she stops she's pretty much a sitting duck...she'll try to warp you but just dodge it...but you can stop her warping by throwing out a power. When you do that she will  hold her hand out in defense. SO! after stopping her throw out a power shoot until cool down, power, shoot, power shoot...the banshee will just stand there with her hand up until she dies
