Module starts OK, Campaign crashes NWN2

 Hello everybody.
Does anyone know why, when I start the campaign I'm making, the transition from the first area to the second crashes the game ("NWN2 has encountered a problem etc..."), whereas when I run the module on its own it works as expected (except of course I lose the campaign benefits)?
If that helps, it's the same result when the module is saved as a directory or as a .mod file. Saving as under a new name (yep, I made sure the campaign starting module was changed accordingly) leads to the same error (I did this because I thought it could be a corrupt file, or a bad disk cluster, but I guess we can cross this one out since it doesn't change anything).
By the way, it used to work, and I didn't change anything in the "Campaign" folder, so I'm quite sure it's something in the module itself, but as it runs as a module (and not as a campaign), I don't know where to look to fix it.

I made some more tests, and think the culprit is either the second area (but sometimes it works!) or the placeables.2da file, which I had to modify after I started working on the module.
