Her people are fascinating imo, and I really think the Geth/Quarian
thing is one of the most interesting parts of the universe to Mass
Effect.
I like how multiple compliments on her sexual features were sandwiched between seemingly more respectable (and I suspect, much less relevant) comments about Tali's culture and personality traits..
Lol. These are undeniably true but not the extent of why Tali is an awesome character (seriously, if that was all it was..wouldn't Miranda be more popular?).
The reason why Tali was my favorite crew member was because, unlike all the other LI's, we had a full game to establish a friendship with her and set a solid foundation. Thanks to this, she hardly bats an eye when Shepard comes back from the dead and actually takes him at his word that he really is Shepard. Furthermore, I think Tali is one of the more trustworthy and loyal members of the crew and you can always count on her to have your back. Plus, when you play her missions, she actually is a straight shooter..no hidden motives or anything, just help her with the problem she told you about. In my opinion she was a good "best friend" character, who fortunately you get the chance to romance in the later games.
