There is video of an animated waterwheel in nwn2 on yuoutube. However the model is pretty obviously taken from Skyrim, and was never publicly released.rjshae wrote...
Those do look very nice...
I was wondering, do we have a model somewhere of a rustic Miller's house with a working (animated) waterwheel along the side? That just seems so classical medieval Europe to me.

I was hoping the water mill on the video got released and I just didn't get my hand on it. I remember Tchos asked somewhere to touch the Witcher placeables. Maybe the person that did the Water Mill didn't do the same for Skyrim, or just didn't bother releasing it for this reason.

I've tried a couple of methods to animate the watermill wheel in the Witcher placeables, but without success. Maybe later, but I'll need more knowledge.

Today I received this from Adam Miller:
"Feel free to do whatever you'd like to the campaign. I sadly don't have much time these days, and it's heartening that people still find value in it."
So without pause for thought

This is a selection of material that I will post up when I get this done. It's about two thirds of the content.
I have to idetify some textures and I have missed some mdb's but I can trawl the files for those and will fix them all before I am done.
I will post another picture or two tomorrow there is a very nice lighthouse which I can post up and some other odds and sods.
Thank you Adam

I'm looking at the mdb's again and the bits in the 2da are just scratching the surface. I can see loads of custom content that Adam has created.
I need to take stock and further develop the 2da so that all his good work is put to good use.
Thats going to take time (there are 5000 mdb's to sort through) so I will complete the main block of work first and then return to this cornucopia of placeable lovelyness

I added another 58 placeables from DW this evening. I think there are 30 more to go. I am going to extend the reserved 2da for this content to accomodate this.
Then it's back to the other content to complete the work.
I discovered that Heed has done some stock tintable placeables which cross over with mine in some cases. For the most part they compliment each other though and I will file them together in the UTP structure

I was wrong, there was a lot more to go <_<
But they're done
So that's 177 new placeables. some more useful than others. I ahve a copuple of missing mdb file to find and a couple of missing .dds issues to sort out ( the file is there but the placeable is not seeing it ... ?) The shame is that happeneing on some nice placeables (some very fine hat models).
All will be fixed and if you need a dead mako shark, a manta ray or a parrot the you are good to go. There is a very nice printing press and some sweet mechanical objects.
Back into the RDS stuff now.

Dude, if you are ever in TX, dinner and drink of your choice is on me.
Meanwhile, any chance we could get the sloped walkmesh helper off the vault included, with the updated placeables 2da to boot? It's purely selfish -- I'm a slow learner and STILL can't figure out how to make a placeable with a working walkmesh (even with the tutorial), so am intending to exploit said walkmesh helper to make some experimental caverns. Would be GREAT if I didn't have to reinvent the 2da wheel to be up to date with all this fantabulous stuff.

Interesting placeables, even if most of these objects seems to be very specific !
I bet someone will be very interested by the lighthouse^_^

I had looked at the lighthouse in the Dark Waters module before, but it's the wrong size and shape for my purpose, and it has an open hole in its side that may not be apparent in the screenshot.

I think about 30% of them are genericly useful, many of the objects are repeated. The painting easle has 8 forms for instance. There are a lot of sloped models like the house in the background, so I guess dark waters has an area where everything is sliding downhill. There are minecarts in this set that are intersting. Those that are useful are very nice to have. The boots and hats I have not seen yet in other sets (I do have a way to go yet though) The parrot is nice (I think it's a Norwegian blue, it does not seem to move much).
The printing press and eye are fun, the ship under full sail I think could be used a lot. There is a dice for each of the six faces and a nice chalk board. I think it's an asset overall and I am looking forward to using some of them
@Happycrow - I intend to do every thing ... I have started down this path and I will get to the end. Walkmesh helpers included.
Oh, and I come to TX (Houston) every other May and would gladly have a beer with you if geography and timing allows.

I'm in DFW: Houston is a dark place inhabited by orcs and under-dressed women. So, actually, good choice.... tnx.

Ah yes I spotted the under dressed women last time I was there.
I understand it is considered the capital of the US for such chinanigans.

Actually, it makes a lot of sense given the heat/humidity. Just an immense amount of labor, though. Props.

This project continues and I think I have done most of the major sets now.
There are a few of the gems I have come across which you may not have seen yet:

I have created many many utp's over the last few weeks. A lot of those that were set up were not connected and many more simply do not have blueprints ... they do now.
I seem to remember warnings about too much time at the PC would make you squint and your right arm ache but never related to 2da's and utp's.

a rolled up sock under the right wrist keeps the forearm straight and prevents carpal.
not sure how that'd go down at work tho,
maybe use a tie /jk

Thank you for the advice gentlemen fortunately it is not a real issue for me
From the list I have (kanbyens plus other bits I found myself) I now have just a few more sets to go. I got slowed down by Anthraxites banners. I had not appreciated that was 100+ blueprints. Predicatably enought the provided ones did not work
In addition the naming convention was not the best. Fine if you can reuse the provided utp files, as they were neatly named and collated. Without the provided file the name would be banner97 or some such leaving the builder to open each one up to work out to which god it reffered, that assuming that the builder knows what each symbol is.
So I renamed them all
.
The other set which I was a bit dissapointed by was the Ossian set. The models are fine but the naming convention they had was pretty terrible (sorry if I am offending someone). The blueprints did not match up with Kanbyens 2da (which I have stuck to without deviance with respect to already supplied content.) so I could not use them. The naming convention used uses unrecognised spaces so it appears wrong in the 2da but also it used a descriptive name convention which is f****** tedious frankly.
For instance calling a blueprint "sock" in the first column of the 2da means the person who creates the blueprint has to trawl through a list of a thousand+ names that can only be searched by first letter to find "sock" then repeat for the next one. That is very frustrating and time consuming. Others have done it but Ossian were the worst offenders. I had saved it till last because I thought it would be easier ... ah well. I renamed the models in the 2da to MOW followed by the model name, then I renamed the blueprint utp to descirbe the object. All is now well and new persons repeating this task need to search for MOW which is much eaiser.
Vent over
Here are some of the blueprints I have done (note: I have not modelled any of these I am simply providing easy access to the stirling work of others):

Still left to do is:

Still left to do is:
- the remainder of the blueprints for snakebanes work (around 250) the fusuma and drow door sets and Kamals_ skydome set.
- Go thorugh the 2da line by line, update the reserved ranges for all those who have not done so at the time Kanbyens set his 2da up.
- Make sure I have all content on the 2da in my set.
- Check that each person and website is linked from the spreadsheet (I intend to link to vault 1/2 and nexus where appropriate, though vault 2 may wit till the first update of new material).
- Put some extra columns on the spreadsheet to allow playes to note which set of blueprint they have used and which they have voted on.
- Make sure all links to the 2da work on the spreadsheet.
- Write some instructions.
- Put the whole thing up for use if anybody wants it (this project is for me primarily but I want to share is it is useful to the community at large/small).

Hi there PJ. A question, I cannot find the Tintable Circle Pack in my list. Is it included, or planned?
