One might assume that some Inquisitors would even be allied to this "Antagonist" Templar leader.

Which leaves the Antagonist Mage Leader to deal with... and I cannot WAIT to put that tool in his/her place.

It'll probably be a magister. Enjoy.

Ofcourse you wouldn't want someone in your Circle Mage rebellion to be a villain

@Xilizhra: That would be such a cop-out.

Not that I don't want to kill magisters mercilessly.... but I'd like for there to be a DA game in Tevinter where I can play a Magister who destroys other magisters, has no slaves and doesn't practice blood magic.

Maybe we could have a sort of ranking saarebas? Would you prefer that?

There will most likely be a mage antagoinst anyway. The Veil has been ripped open. I doubt that happened by a templar using Cleanse.

Circle Mage Rebellion is inherently evil. Spreading a bunch of ticking time bombs all over the place. It's foolish.

@Xilizhra: I do like the Saarebas. It would mean he's Tal Vashoth - but I'm okay with that.

Or... even better. a Saarebas placed in Thedas to incite the mages to rebel so the world culls Thedas' pool of mages for an easier Qunari invasion.

Yeah, I like it. (since that's my theory on who is behind the rebellion)

@Volus Warlord: Incidently, it's also inherently stupid.  See: Spartacus

Well, your "theory" is already blatantly wrong, but I was referring to an agent trying to tear Thedas asunder with demons so that the entire continent would be easier prey for qunari butchery.

Considering it's most likely a Dalish artifact, I have my doubts about the Qunari being behind the Fade Tear aspect. If anywhere, they'd put that in Tevinter if they could.

That doesn't even sound close to what an Qunari would do

And if the "Agents of Chaos" are multiple people I really do hope one of them is someone within the Circle Mage rebels

It's not evil if you happen to be the bomb.

He'd probably call for a Bioware writer to be burned alive like you did when you had tantrum over lesbian relationships in Patrick Weekes' new book.

Oh wait no he wouldn't, because he isn't mentally ill.

Nothing, but I'd consider it wasted potential

Because unless certain people I'm neither pro-Mage or pro-Templar

Just shows Bioware is bias towards mages, more so if a Templar is invovled. It would also make the boring black and white conflict much worse.

Oh wait no he wouldn't, because he isn't mentally ill.

Come now, I never said anyone should burn anyone before the book was done. In any case, it's Internet fire; there'd be no way to actually burn people alive online.

Reality frequently does not confirm to the golden mean.

Still doesn't change the fact that you threaten a Bioware staff by burning him alive

Yes, it was deliberately absurd and not positioned as an actual threat.

Yes, you read that right. I've always felt that making the Chantry a religious organization was a cheap way of making them harder to sympathize with because nowadays "Organized Religion=Evil".
So, if there must be a templar antagonist, I want him/her to use logic and fear to justify his/her actions because there simply is no way to relate to someone who does things because god ordered it.

It's hard for me to feel sympathy for the templars and the chantry less because they are religious, and more because they made the bed that they are lying in right now.
I mean, there are so many magic users that are against the misuse of magic, and all for reaching some sort of co-existanse, but the chantry didn't use them, they just kicked mages again and again until the only thing left for them was to rebel against the chantry.

It dosen't matter if they acted stupid *because*  of their religion, or if they are stupid regardless of their religion,
the result is the same.

That said, there is a reason why it's hard for most people to be sympathetic toward organised religion.
Most of the time organised religion is a catalyst for ignorance, stagnation, and suspicion or out right hatred
toward everything that isn't part of said religion.

If there is one thing DA lore did well, it's pointing out what religion looks like when it's rampaging out of control.

So threats are okay, just as long as they are absured? Because making threats over anything across the internet is not absurd? It just has to be the right amount of insane? Good to know.

No it's not a good excuse to threaten a BioWare employee, no matter how oppressed you think you are.

My post was deleted for being problematic, but not deemed sufficiently so as to result in being banned. That should be all you need to know.

Also, the use of the term "fire" was clearly in the context of Internet rage if you were to look at the actual thread before my post was deleted, so, you know. Context is nice.
