So as all of you know, in DA:O the Warden (and Alistair) got captured and taken to Fort Drakon after rescuing Anora. And, like all of you, I enjoyed the hilarious dialogue of party members wanting to break the Warden out. Or if you went the other route of the Warden break him/herself out. Now I'm hoping there is a quest like that in DA:I but with more urgency.

Me and my wild imagination, have cooked up this sort of scenario: the Inquisitor's keep gets infiltrated and the Inquisitor is caputured. And our companions launch a daring mission to save them. And I'm not talking about a simple seek and find thing; I'm mean something like ME2's ending happened actually picking people to do certain tasks like a frontal charge and someone who sneaks around in stealth to find the Inquisitor etc. And, no, I'm not suggesting that if a certain companion doesn't get picked  for the right task  the Inquisitor will die, nothing like that. But maybe it could delay the search and the Inquisitor gets more battered and/or moved to another location.

But what do you all think of this? A good idea or..not so much.Or maybe add or take away from my scenario.
Discuss away my beautiful darlings! Image IPB

Ooo I like that.

First things first; have Cassandra use her amazon arms to smash the door down.

You know, most players never actually came across that part of the game because it never happens if you win the fight. But it was pretty cool so I wouldn't mind a similar thing happening.

I think part of this could be spoilery if you havent played the dlc for da2 so read at your own risk :-P

I like losing that fight and getting rescued. I like watching the diff companions dialogues. I liked being rescued by my companions in da2 during mota too.

Amazon arms indeed! I remember when I first saw that and I instantly thought of She-Hulk!

I favor this idea - being an Inquisitor may label you as quite the target, so being captured is a solid possibility. Something with similar tactical choose-the-person mechanics to the suicide mission would make for an interesting scenario.

I hate to be the man who is a mage that reference a sexist joke to Cassandra. The Rite of Tranquality doesn't seem all that bad if that was an option to pick as a punishment in an act of mercy

My favorite quests in game (Not just DA games) are quests where you can complete your goal without having to fight through a hundred henchmen.

For Fork Drakon, you could break in and make an extremely memorable, funny quest. Or you could fight your way out as the Warden/Alistair.

In DA2, when rescuing Feynriel from the Fade there was very little combat (Were there any waves?) and it was more focused on learning more about your companions and their motivations.

Those are the quests that are memorable and fun for me, and I would love to see another one in DA:I. With all the political manoeuvering and intrigue of Orlais and their (supposed?) plans to rework the Persuasion checks, I hope they come up with interesting quests.

Yea that was so awesome having Leliana and Orghen breaking me out. I always find quests with funny dialogue good and quests that proves that the main character is not the strongest person in the world.

I don't see why people fear mages nearly as much as they should fear Nevarran Dragon Hunters, especially if they come from the Pentaghast.

NO!

Ummm..pause. Didn't happen for my Warden, I defeated Ser Cautherien when she tried to imprison me.

And a question for the Warden' s who submitted to her, Why would you submit yourself to imprisonment under Lohgain AFTER murdering Arl Howe in his own home AT THE HEIGHT OF THE CIVIL WAR? Just a question :)

Because one, I just wanted to do the quest and didn't care, and two, I didn't submit myself I revealed Anora and she betrayed me! >:( And then I let Cautherien defeat me. ^.^

You did submit yourself, you chose to lay down your arms and explain yourself to Ser Cauthrien' s superior...Lohgain, THAT is the only reason you went to jail.

Also Anora didn't really betray you, she was cunning. How could she reveal to Ser Cauthrien that she was working with you, Cauthrien would only tell Lohgain and she would be right back were you found her, locked in a cell.

It was quite awesome to have the characters interact without my PC. THe gameplay of combat was a little awkward though, because it was just two people so you couldn't create as great a team.

I like what DA:E's Mark of the Assassin did though. You still seem them running to get you, and then some dialogue, but you don't have to try and complete massive fights with just a tank and an archer or w/e.

I'd like to see Cassandra get captured and then free herself by bending the bars in her cell with her mighty Amazon strength.

The various interactions among the two party members who rescue the Warden were gold. We see these breakouts every now and then over the years in Bioware games. Please, Bioware, can we have some more?
