  Last week when the "Return to Ostagar" Content came out there was also an update that you had to do before you could play the game on the Xbox 360.  I did not (very much did not!) download "Return to Ostagar"  I did not get a chance to as it was already off of xbox live at that point.  What I did do however was do the update that the xbox told me I had to do in order to continue playing my game.  Ok I said went along with it thinking that nothing can possibly go wrong with a mandantory update.  I was very wrong.  As soon as I went back into my game All the the specializations I had unlocked were gone!  Everything!  I have one complete playthrough Done already (you can see my list of achivements my gamertag is Lady Alexiel)  I have 3 other play throughs I am working on and I have unlocked nearly every specialization and now they are all gone entirely.  I loaded up my complete save and they were gone on there too and that was a nice kick in my behind since I had my character using the berserker class and now she is just a warrior again.  I contacted customer support twice.  The first time they assumed I downloaded "Return to Ostagar"  and this last time they recomended that I post on the forums, in case there is anything anyone else may know.  Or if I knew at least one other person out there is pulling out their hair because they can not figure out what is going on either I would feel just a little better.  Any information would be so helpful.

Yes. This happened to me as well. I have seven characters.

It's an error that the mandatory update caused with your saved games. There are several places in the tech support forum (This one, obviously. ) that have several work-arounds to the problem, but BioWare has no official 'fix' for the update yet.

I had the same issue as well after the update. they are still working on it but there is a workaround to it. its to clear out the cache on your xbox hard drive. i did this and my speacializations where still locked until i had bard taught to me, saved then shut down the xbox and brought it back up and all my speacializations unlocked again. i have heard other doing this as well but didn't work for them. clearing out the cache in the hdd removes the update for the game and since they took the update off the servers it doesn't prompt for it when you start the game. hope this helps in some way.

Thank you for that advice! I actually did that method and then EA got back to me after I fixed the issue and told me to do exactly that. UGH at least my hours of hard work are not all gone anymore!
