The warden killed Flemeth once....in some people's playthroughs.
Not in any of mine.
I never killed her in DAO.
She saved my warden's life after all.
I certainly wasn't going to kill her just on Morrigans say so..
shrugs.
I believe Flemeth is vital to Thedas and killing her will cause bad consequences in that player's game.
If that happens, I won't feel sorry for that player.
I'll just laugh.

Flemeth is vital to Thedas?

If she hadn't saved Hawke that statue would still be in a thaig in the middle of nowhere and Anders would be dead in after Origins, assuming of course the proper way is for the Warden to recruit him.

Maybe you should go read The Stolen Throne.
I stand by what I said.

Oh I know, farseeing and all that. Still, I think she does it as all part of her own master plan. Not to save Thedas.

I find the theory that Flemeth is an OGB herself compelling myself, especially considering that Morrigan discovered more about what Flemeth was after giving birth to one. Except that would imply that the Warden who killed the Archdemon of that Blight would've survived and before the Warden that had never happened.

When Flemeth saved the warden and Allistair frothe tower she saved Ferelden at the least.
Without Flemeth the warden and Allistair are killed by the darkspawn.
Masterplan or no.
Shrugs.

I doubt Flemeth cared that much about the OGB, anyways.

If she did, there would be many ways to accomplish better than sending a socially inept mage.

Don't be silly. The Dragon was Andraste. That is why she needed to be killed.

Flemeth is Flemeth. And Asha'bellanar. And Loki. And Fen'Harel.
She can be anyone of these, and no one. That's part of her mystique.
I hopw that whatever happens, she will remain an unknown. It adds to the DA universe's charm.

This is the third game in the series. I think it's time to conclude Flemeth's arc.

Hopefully, the writers are thinking the same thing that I am.

There are (and always will be) other mysteries to solve.

I've got it! She's looking for five teenagers with attitude to give them the magical elemental rights of power so they can summon Captain Thedas.

Nah, she takes her students on crazy adventures around the world by shapeshifting into various modes of transportation.

Gotta put bacon on the waffles .
Thick cut applewood bacon.
Flemeth as...
We don't know.
Bioware is setting DAI up as a penultimate moment.
Maybe there will be multiple endings even if you "save" Thedas.
Maybe Flemeth lives in some of them for DA4.
Maybe she doesn't.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Flemeth saves the inquisitor and due to that s/he gets to become the leader of the jnquisition.

Afterall, Flemeth was involved in saving fereldans that became influential and ended up disappearing: Maric, Warden, Hawke maybe others depending on what the seekers know

Maybe Morrigan saves the Inquisitor, stealing her mama's tricks. Or Morrigan turns out to be Flemeth.

Or the Inquisitor survives on his/her own. That would be awesome.

It's my theory that Flemeth is an old god, namely Razikale, the old god of mystery, I seem to remember it being said that whilst their bodies slumbered below their minds wandered the fade and that's where Flemeth found it. From the story told of Fen'harel and how he tricked the gods into the heavens and the others down below so he alone could walk the world, I believe Fen'harel is the maker and the others are the old gods. Also whilst the old gods are sometimes referred to as 'he' and one of the old gods names, zazikel, is feminine, it's never actually stated which are female or male, or if they're even gender specific, plus Flemeth, that was, was possessed but is not an abomination.Furthermore I believe her goal is to undo what was done by the maker/Fen'harel, by removing the veil and returning magic to everyone, perhaps the old gods goading the mages to enter the golden city was an earlier plan for this that backfired, after all the way the darkspawn search out the old gods makes it seem to me to be not so much a punishment for mans hubris as it is a way to corrupt, punish and eventually remove the old gods that sent them there. As for the inquisitor, Hawke and the warden had no choice but to be Flemeths pawns, or at least the outcomes furthered her ends, so I'd like the idea of him/her being the one that could stop it and flemeth trying to get rid or steer him.

Eh... I don't know if I like Flemeth that much anymore. I hope she doesn't wind up being in every DA game, but it looks like that's just going to be an ongoing theme. Maybe it's because she was so unimpressive in the last game. Or maybe I'm just impatient to learn the truth. I want them to reveal everything in the next game, or at least something substantial...

I think she's the avatar of Fen'Harel working to keep the Maker imprisoned in the Black City.

That does seemt to be a theme, doesn't it?

I like a theory expressed elsewhere that the inquisitor is a servant at a peace conferance (since another theme tends to be finding some random loser to save the world).

The veil opens at said peace conferance and for whatever reason Flemeth opts to save this one servant.  For some reason.

I find it funny that a lot of people see Flemeth as really evil as we have had very little evidence to to this. I mean we have loads of rumors and legends thats she's evil but there are loads of false rumors in Thedas. But i mean all we've seen of her is her help the grey wardens with the treaties, her save the PC twice. The Dalish seem not to see her as evil. Yes we have Morigan, but even there Morigan doesn't say she thinks Flemeth is evil.
I'd say that at worst she is Benevolent, she does seem to have plans for Thedas, but thats not a bad thing, her plans do include stopping the Blight.

She strikes me as a very neutral figure, chaotic, probably.
