I'm not going back through this entire thread because I feel like I'm progressively losing grey matter the more I read of it. I also know that when I click on the link to this thread on my profile later tonight to see whether anyone has responded to my question below, it will have been locked and deleted by a mod (the other kind), so there's a certain eschatological quality to it.

Anyway...do we know the actual period of revival immunity down to milliseconds (or hundreds of MS at most)? And how it interacts with being either the host or client? Is there a difference between being revived by another player (also Medi-Gel Transmitter gear) and self-reviving?

I might test some of this out tonight. Even on PC, players start taking damage extremely rapidly after reviving. I've been totally destroyed by Ravager and Marauder focus fire after a revive and before regaining control of my character plenty of times, and I've also been sync killed before regaining control of my character many times. I do try to remember to input a dodge while still being revived to avoid this but sometimes that doesn't fire correctly.

Play the Turian Sentinel.
If I could offer you only one tip for this game, using the Turian Sentinel would be it. The well-rounded versatility of the Turian Sentinel has been proved by many here, whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own ME3 MP experience. I will dispense this advice now.
Enjoy the power and beauty of keyboard+mouse controls. Oh, never mind. You will not understand the power and beauty of keyboard+mouse controls until you've used a console controller. But trust me, months from now, you'll look back at screenshots of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fast you could truly speedrun once you switched to PC.
You are not as scrubby as you imagine.
Don't worry about the scoreboard. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to get the escort drone to move by staring at it from the LZ. The real troubles in your match are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blind sides you on your way to the objective by teleporting through three walls to sync-kill you.
Use one gun every day that you think is terrible.
Reload cancel.
Don't be reckless with other people's characters when they're in the Reactor. Don't put up with people who are reckless with yours.
Revive others.
Don't waste your time on e-peen. Sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind. The point is fun and, in the end, we all get the same amount of credits.
Remember "good game" messages you receive. Forget the hatemail. If you succeed in doing this, tell Void Nexxus how.
Keep your old friends. Throw away the useless PUGs post-match.
Kite enemies.
Don't feel guilty if you don't know how best to min/max your builds. The most interesting people I know didn't know after 2 months how best to spec each kit. Some of the most interesting veterans around still don't.
Get plenty of reboots. Be kind to your PS3. You'll miss those framerates when they're gone.
Maybe you'll solo, maybe you won't. Maybe you'll clutch Wave 10, maybe you won't. Maybe you'll "retire" repeatedly, maybe you'll dance the funky chicken after your 7,500th hour of gaming. Whatever you do, don't congratulate yourself too much, or berate yourself either. Your extractions are half chance. So are everybody else's.
Enjoy your favorite kit. Use it every way you can. Don't be afraid of it or of what other people think of it. It's the greatest expression of fun you'll ever have.
Play, even if you have nowhere to do it but your living room.
Read advice threads, even if you don't follow them.
Do not read any threads created by S.P.E.C.T.R.E.s. They will only make you feel racist.
Learn to love the servers. You never know when they'll be gone for good. Be nice to your fellow BSNers. They're your best link to this game and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.
Understand that teammates come and go, but with a precious few you should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in timezones and playstyle, because the older this game gets, the more you need to have competent people to save you from the endless PUGs.
Play on Hazard Ghost once, but leave before it makes you freeze. Play on Hazard Reactor once, but leave before it makes you a total troll.
Rage-gel.
Accept certain inalienable truths: Platinum is boss spam. Collectors are cheaters. You, too, will get sync-killed. And when you do, you'll fantasize in spectator mode that when this game was young, Gold was reasonable, Reapers were harder and newbies respected their elders.
Respect your elders.
Don't expect anyone else to support you. Maybe that PUG will be better than you. Maybe that PUG will be a decent decoy. But you never know when all the PUGs might bleed out.
Don't mess too much with your character appearances or by the time you're done they'll all look like regurgitated rainbows.
Be careful whose advice you take, but be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of e-peen. Dispensing it is a way of fishing your past victories from the disposal, wiping them off, painting over the ugly parts and presenting them as more than they're worth.
But trust me on the Turian Sentinel.

It's too bad no one corrected your spelling proffessor before he could learn you how to spell.

To give proper credit, that particular (wonderful) piece was written by Our Lady of the PS3 DragonRacer13. <3

The subtler element of it was the quote. That essay enjoyed a brief life as the original "This post reflects my thoughts exactly," before that phrase was conveniently invented. ;)

You're right; there's his misunderstanding of logic, his bragging about being more intelligent than his professor, whilst simultaneously misspelling the word professor, my misspelling of the word professor and the improper use of grammar and sentence construction, and your failure to understand satire, it's all in one massive package!

Didn't you hear that there's a 12 drink minimum to go on the BSN?

I must be the only one around here not bothered by element 0. I guess I'm missing something here...

Also, without slowing his video down frame by frame and getting out a stopwatch to record fractions of seconds I would say that Annonmander is not a cheater. There are a few PC players(n7 link, just one example) who are pathological liars but you can seperate them based on how they react to accusations of cheating.

@AirQueef You're a tool. And a joke.

@Anno Nice headshots. Never thought of that approach to improving the Argus. Might try that setup out sometimes.

@Dunvi Rawr!
