I understand that people sometimes use the Jav on other
kits, such as the human soldier etc; but this is rare. The Javalin is almost exclusive
to the GI.  My question is why?

I am going to use the Drell Assassin for example.

The GI has 22.50% weapon damage plus 10 percent geth weapon
damage which the Javalin benefits from. The GI also has hunter mode, which can
give a total of 17.50% damage bonus + 15m enhanced vision, or 7.50% damage +24m
enhanced vision. The GI has proximity mine, which gives 20 percent damage
increase in a 4.50 radius + some additional raw damage. Also let’s not forget
the standard tactical cloak.

The Drell Infiltrator has a total of 32.50% weapon damage,
which cancels out the geth weapon bonus that the Jav gets from the GI. He also
have Recon mine, which provides a 25% damage increase plus a 30 percent speed
reduction at a whooping 12m radius; in my opinion this is makes up for the
proximity mine of the GI + Hunter mode, because it provides a permanent 25% damage
boost as long as it’s not detonated; gives me 12m enhanced vision; has more raw
damage, force, and explosive radius than proximity mine; and thanks to the 30
percent damage reduction, coupled with enhanced vision, it makes sniping scrub
level ez.  

Homing grenade can either hurt or make point more relevant;
but if homing grenade was speced into, then another source of raw damage;
active recon mine coupled with TC can give me incredible damage addition with
homing grenade, and with the “spilt in two” rank 6 option, I can have an
excellent source of crowd control, not that is relevant, lol phasic. The other
rank on homing grenade is not really important because high damage weapons like
Jav does not notice that much of DR from armor.

All and all, am not trying to say that the Drell infiltrator
is a better jav than the GI, but is the difference in performance that
different? Especially when you can kill most mocks with just Jav and phasic
alone.  But sadly I have never seen a Jav
inflidrell ever! And the only other Jav users I see other than GI are mostly in
videos.

I use the Javelin on the Human Infiltrator, Salarian Infiltrator, Quarian Female Infiltrator, Quarian Male Infiltrator, Turian Ghost, Human Soldier, Salarian Engineer, Geth Juggernaut, Geth Flamerless Trooper Soldier, Geth Engineer, Drell Infiltrator, N7 Destroyer and more.

To me its all about that gun. Its just so good that I like it on many kits and I dont limit it to the GI but thats just me. I like the gun.

I use it on GI, GE, GJ, GT, QFI, KWS and on some vanguards for lols. And the racial weapon bonus and specific weapon boost in rank 6b of TC are multiplicative, just saying.
