A person with talent would be greatly appreciated, as well as someone who can makes us feel like they are apart of the game universe. Diana Allers did not fit in with the Mass Effect universe, she was too much of a sore phumb. Tallis did feel like she could fit in.

But in all honesty, I think they could just have Tallis coming back. While many dislike her, I seem to read between the lines that most who dislike her do so because of Hawke's inability to take sides more than her actual character. And I liked Tallis for sure, but hey considering my love for anything that mentions the Qun that is hardly surprising.
