This is pretty well totally correct.  A lot of bsn players have a totally skewed vision of the entirety of the population that plays this game and view the game and community through the eyes of a very good player.  Classic case of this is the old lolreegar mantra thinking that the gun is so powerful that it's easy mode for everyone when in reality it is good advantage for certain solo classes and maps but far form 'easy mode' for the majority of the community in the majority of games.

No... it's you looking at players playing a lower difficulty than you, and seeing that as looking "down" at them. 

You still haven't explained why you playing at a higher difficulty means anything in that context. What you're saying doesn't really make sense, at all.

Identifying someone's habitual level of play isn't inappropriate when comparing the difficulty of different challenges. You really are coming across as someone desparate to pick a fight. It's unbecoming, and it makes you look petty and childish.

Why are you trying to start this rivalry?

Why are you and Cain inventing reasons out of thin air to start arguments with people?

Why do you turn everything Limbs says into something about you? Are you really that insecure?

Theres a learning curve to BSNing? I always felt like BSN was a huge cult...  I dont want to get involved

It's the truth though.  People view the entire population through their eyes or the eyes of bsn which we know is very much skewed due to the quality of players on bsn.  Even the mediocre to scrub players (like myself) on bsn are often (not always) the best player in a random pug group.  As for talking down to people, I don't think anyone could possibly dispute that happens a lot on here.

No... what she said is confusing and hostile, and unrelated to what you are saying.

What you're talking about is something completely different. A lot of what is said around here is definitely filtered through the eyes of someone who doesn't understand what it's like for newer players, you are absolutely right about that. But that's not what happened in this case.

You are conflating a calculated attempt to troll someone with a broader BSN phenomenon, and in this case, they are two very different things.

Come now, someone saying, 'you are probably a silver player' and not much else is pretty easy to interpret.  It's all in the context and that bit of context the average person would think of as being talking down to or condescending.

Well... context is important, as you say.

And the context of the original statement was "You can't play Gold without maxed Ultra Rares."

The response was, "I picture you as a Silver player," followed by an (entirely true) explanation of why Gold players don't need maxed Ultra-Rares.

So, unless the truth became "talking down to someone," there is no inherent value judgment being made.

Inherently judging a "Silver player" as "less valuable," was a value judgement made by Queen Angel, not by limbs.

Its not a fight its a discussion. Im looking at it for what it is. She doesnt know if the guy is a silver level player or not so for her to say that is condescending. If i were to say that about her everyone on here wouldve been saying im condescending. Like i said its only ok when certain people do it BSN BS...which is why i dont take it seriously and find this all hilarious really

Use RHA, stay out of enemy line of sight, kite when necesseary, Geth Scanner is the only gear that exists.

Knowing what you are doing. It's possible to solo plat with that, it will just take long.
