Prediction of future LIs

I hope he likes elven girls. (if no, not a problem...I alredy have in mind for the second round a female dwarf PC)
the other male LI I would be interested is the Qunari...he would be great for my Qunari Inquisitor *_*
of course I could chance idea if there is a mage character simila to Sand (NWN2)
Females LI...well. let's see...I'm not so much interested, but if the ladyes are interesting characters, I would create a male inquisitor just to try theyr romance (just like I did for Morrigan and Jack) or just another female character. but usually I first try the straight romance, and than the omosexual. (only exception Lelinana in my second playtrought. she "jumped" on my elf warden and I simly continued from there. little I know it was going to happen in every playtrought with my elf girls) just a weakness of mine.

If I had to guess, I'd say that people on these forums believe we spend as much time thinking about the romances as they do. As in just thinking about the romances, and not actually writing them. So us writers are tapping our chins for weeks on end, imagining things like what new and wonderful hair color our intrepid fans would be really excited about and how that would affect their background and personality.

As for the guys...that Dorian fellow sounds interesting. He'd certainly be a welcome change from the buckets of angst the last two male LIs were (don't get me wrong, I enjoyed their romances, I'd just like to be in a stable relationship for once). Funnily, I don't want Varric as a romance for one reason: if my Snarky!Rogue!Hawke couldn't romance him after being his BFF for ten years, some new chick he just met shouldn't be able to.
And I know I'm in the minority here, but I don't want Cullen either. He came off as a little creepy in DAO, and while he got better in DAII he wasn't particularly interesting. If he takes up a LI slot, that automatically means I either have to go for the other male or one of the girls.

I always pictured Leliana as someone that would like Elves (probably why she's the LI of all my Male Elven Wardens).
She even sings a song in their language after all, and it wouldn't surprise me if she actually knew more of the Elvish language than your average city Elf does.

He's obviously vulnerable now, with his BFF and brother both gone.

Yes. I thinked that too. But I had the bad feeling she liked elves because she looked at them as little more than fascinating pets. (yet I don't know why I didn't feel that way the first time I had her in the team...in my first playtrought I forget her in lothering...
quite surprising, she didn't jump on my male dwarf, when at first I made him be very flirty...(I stopped when Morrigan became jelous)
maybe you are right. she has a wakness for Elven guys/gals=]

The Warden has a similar reaction when she talks about Elves and how beautiful they are, how valued as servants back in Orlais.
"Should I go offer myself to some rich nobleman as a prized pet then?" (paraphrased) is one of the responses, for which she apologizes profusely.

Hardly, I'm not a Cullen-stan and would not be disappointed to see him as a non-companion/LI.
I just think it's likely from the leaked survey.
[EDIT] To throw my personal "wish" out there, as I was only discussing likely options: I want Cole.

A sure thing?
Has Cullen even shown up in any concept art or gameplay videos yet? I was under the impression that he hadn't, which makes me wonder where all this 'sure thing' speculation is coming from. Wishful thinking more like.

I believe he was hinted at in one of the interviews.
"The return of a certain fan favorite Knight-Commander" or a phrase like that.
I think there was also a tweet from the actor - though I can't recall exactly what it said.

one of those moments I found the possible choise of dialogue of the Warden being written from my mind
and yes. Elves are irresistible

Cullen first showed up in DA:I related material in the leaked survey (forgive me for the lack of a link). Everything we've seen thus far from official sources has been in-line with the information within the leak, and while I believe the BW staff when they say a lot has changed since the survey's initial use...we haven't seen a contradiction yet.
On a shallow level, Cullen is visually Alistair 2.0 with an Anders personality (replacing the "Rah! Mages!" with "Rah! Templars!"). That, and the rabid online fanbase, makes it seem an obvious choice for lady-bait. Until I see more, in my opinion he's a "sure thing" for a companion. /shrug Opinions! I have them!

If it is just based on that line Iwouldn't consider that a 'sure thing' as far as being a companion goes. At most it makes it a possibility. It would also be possible that he could return with some role in the story, while not being a party member.

I don't want Cullen [if he's even in the game, was he confirmed?]
Or, I can totally be forever alone Inquisitor. I have characters like that in Jade Empire, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age.
I'm still going to be playing this game like crazy.

Cullen's VA has confirmed he's going to be in the game, though whether he's going to be a companion and/or LI, that's anyone's guess at this point.

Yes. It's not lost on us that, when it ultimately does come out as to who is romanceable and who isn't, there will be people who have built up speculation to the point that those romances all but existed in their minds-- and we'll have taken it away from them like a beloved teddy bear. Yanked it right out of their hands as if a romance had already been written and we deliberately deleted it.
The idea that every character that is so much as glimpsed must provide concrete proof as to why they shouldn't be romanceable is a bit eyeroll-inducing, but such is life in these parts.

I don't dislike Cullen either. He's just THERE for me. I don't feel the hate he gets, nor do I feel the ammount of praise he gets. But, as far as the L.I thing goes, I wouldn't want him to be an option, but as I just stated, I'm not caring all that much . I just want a good game : Pmaliluka wrote...
