Anyways, we all play sometimes without sound and what not. Have any of you ever wondered why that you were shot by that collector. Not that it sometimes bugs out and fires 9001 shots silently with its CAR of everlasting pain, but maybe because you didn't have any stimuli of the alerting kind.

It just seems to me so many situations like that can be made more fun for you as a player if you turn on vibration and let the sensation alert you to nearby sneaky enemies, as well as the sensation being a pleasant and enjoyable way to play without volume.

I find the firing indicators to be ill-tempered and uncooperative.

What do you fine users think?

I don't play with vibration in any game. It's annoying and usually vibrates 99% of the time b/c you're shooting as opposed to something an enemy is doing, not useful.

That said, I pretty much always play with sound on.

I turned vibration back on recently and all it does is make my hands shake, causing more aches and pains. Like yeah I know I'm being shot, but on screen indicators also tell me that I'm being shot.

But hey, at least it's an option.

More power to ya and others who find it useful/enjoyable. Just my personal opinion that it is annoying far more often than useful.

Maybe you should try applying the vibrations to different areas.

I always have music on when I play so half the time I'm deaf to the action anyway.
Hasn't really hampered me in anyway.

Oh and side note: Metal gear Solid 1 and 4 I believe both had ''vibration test'' functions in the options menu. Now add to that the playstation controllers shape and you can have a very good time.

Oh and I've always hated the Vibration function on consoles, blegh.

I can't play without the vibration in my game.
I turn the sound down low, so I need the good vibes while I play in the dead of the night.
