So, I'm just interested in how squadmates' powers work. So far I know these for facts, from reviews and videos, though they may not be 100% accurate:

Mates have 4 powers, plus an unlockable one

Mates powers originate from you i.e. if you're a soldier and select Overload from Miranda, it will be fired from your position (sorta weird, kinda understand it from gameplay perspective, but this will cheapen moving your squad into certain positions, e.g. hide Samara way back behind a crate, then fire off singularity after singularity as a soldier....)

So these are stuff I'm interested in, whether there have been info on them from the devs, or just you're on speculation:

-Shared cooldown: does this mean that the only with a cooldown is Shep, as in you fire Miranda's Overload, than you have to wait for the cooldown from that and then fire your own Concussive Shot, or does each person has a seperate cooldown?

-What powers are exactly squad usable? Especially concerning the class specific powers: Singularity, Combat Drone and Biotic Charge seems usable enough (especially Charge me thinks), Tech Armor is so-so, because the shield bonus is only part of the game, the other being the explosion, and I don't like the idea of sending other squishy targets into the fray, probably my Shep can handle it better, and Tactical Cloak and Adrenalyine Burst being the least usable for mates: TC maybe OK, but that again would lead to micromanaging, which might not be bad, but so far we don't know what is the opinion of the devs on this issue, and AB simply doesn't make sense, if Grunt goes AB, why does the world slow down for my engineer? Also, I can find a lore explanation for only Shep having the class powers, simply that they are cutting edge, maybe even experimental, and he was supplied by Cerberus the requirements for these, but I heard that Geth can use TC, so I have no idea now.

-Can mates' powers be evolved as well, or do they have set 'patterns' in which they use their powers. e.g. Grunt doesn't likes to share his ammo

- Unique powers from mates' quests: I'm guessing these will passive, like the different mastery class skills, the reason being simply that would seem to be the easiest to implement. Plus, if they're evolvable, than I'm guessing choosing the ultimate expression might also shift them to more Paragon or Renegade directions.

Soooooo, thoughts, speculations, confirmations?

That would be new to me. Not bashing you, but I haven't heard that before.

I'm not a 100% sure about it either, I think I read it on the wiki, or heard it in one of the videos.
