Any news on whether ME2 will be available to preload on Steam? If its not, steam's gonna be at a crawl on the 26th and 29th...

I think the game is pre-loading on all digital platforms on the 22nd.

Excellent, that means I can download it over several nights (off peak unlimited download ) and unlock on the 29th (damned marketing agreements) instead of slowly downloading on release day

Good news indeed. Though it's going to be a torture having the game installed on my computer for 6 days (unlocks on the 28th here) without being able to play it

Steam is preloading ME2 right now for me.

Steam will preload 48 hrs before release for EU customers. US should be running as we speak.



There was a bug that prevented ME2 preload, so make sure you update your client. More info on Steam forums.
